    Default Ellen

At least Ellen is up there in the top 10 of the talk shows, that is something. I personally don't watch any of the other shows and I agree if it was shown here in the UK, it might just get up near the top. Hope it won't be too long before that happens here in the UK.

    Syndication Scorecard:
    Season to-Date Ratings Update

As a benchmark for the upcoming NATPE convention, what follows are updated season to-date household ratings in syndication (first-run and off-network strips) broken out by genre through Jan. 2, 2005. Change versus the comparable year-ago period (when available) appears in parentheses:

    TALK
    Oprah: 7.6 (+13), Dr. Phil: 5.2 (- 2), Live With Regis & Kelly: 3.5 (- 5), Maury: 3.1 (- 3), Montel: 2.4 (- 4), Jerry Springer: 2.3 (-15), Ellen: 2.0 (+33), Jane Pauley: 1.5, Tony Danza: 1.3, Starting Over: 1.1 (+10), Home Delivery: 1.0, Larry Elder and Pat Croce: Moving In: 0.9 each, Good Day Live: 0.8 (-20), Life & Style: 0.5

With NBC Universal’s Home Delivery history, and Jane Pauley, Larry Elder and Pat Croce: Moving In on life support, new is not necessary better this season. Of the freshman mix, only Buena Vista’s The Tony Danza Show, which is renewed in an estimated 60 percent of the country, is expected back next season.
