Series on DVD?

I can not believe, that there is no DVD from the Series Ellen (like there is from "Friends", which I also like). Or has anybody heard of a DVD-Release? Please let me know.

so, if you haven't already, go to this site.... http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/.....and register, then you can vote for both 'ellen' and 'the ellen show' (just type 'ellen' into the tv show voting search) to be made on dvd!!!
and who knows....if there is enough votes....it might get made onto dvd!!! :D

you go to amazon.com you can sign up to find out when the dvd of the show will be released. They also forward the number of people who have signed up to the company in question to tell them there is a deman for the dvd to be released.

Well, I hope the studios soon will get to work on the DVD. My old videotapes are soon to an end. A couple of years ago I made copies of then so they could get a longer life but i can't wait forever.
I'm gonna go home and see what studios it was who broadcast Ellen.
I think Buena Vista was one of them and i'm gonna write them a long letter.

Hi all. I'm new here.

I know this thread is kind of old but I went to Ellen's book signing today in Los Angeles and I asked her if there would ever be a dvd release of "Ellen" that was on ABC. She told me she would love nothing more than to put it out, however, the show is owned by Disney. One of her producers who was also at the signing told me I should write a letter to Disney and put in a request. So if anyone's interested in helping me out...I suppose the trick now is to figure out how/who to contact at Disney to get the ball rolling. I'm sure if they hear from us it will at least help them to consider it.

So there you have it. Let me know what you all think!

I've also been looking the Ellen series in dvd but I have been unlucky! Buffy, Friends, Queer As Folk and nothing of Ellen!! Let's hope that very soon the dvds will be released!

I have been taping the episodes from lifetime that are on every nite. I watch them all the time and the are prolly gonna die soon so I want them on DVD. I wil look around for an address. :D

As several you, I tape Ellen sitcom who is broadcast again on ctv!But I would like better on DVD because i find that take a lot of vhs!On DVD will be more simple...Choose your episode and not forward during a long moment and backforward...!!

I'm a bit worried because my tapes are starting to get old. So now when i have a new computor i'm transfer from my tapes to DVD. So they can last until the release to hole serie. The best is that i can get all of my six tapes into one DVD.

I am waitin for a volume 1 to 5 series of Ellen, Man I miss it so Much it rocked!, It use to give me bare Jokes, I was literally In tears laughing every single Night.

It would be mega cool if they had all the series on DVD box set, I'll be at my store waitin to buy that Man. Although I was upset coz I missed the puppy episode.

hey this what i know is, that the first dvd will about something with ellen before the serie was on tv, but if nobody buy this other dvds about the series were not produced. and i here that this all start this year-until the end.

I know this is really random, but i have season one on dvd (2 copies) lol and theres no real point in selling it, so if anyone on here hasnt seen season 1, or needs to add it to there collect i know its been out forever, but the dvd is the complete season one, its brand new and sealed and if someone wants it, its yours just let me know :) its region 1. but itll play on multi region dvd player or on your computers (i believe?)

I have season 1 so far, the licence picture made me laugh so hard !! Episodes are all great and yah Ellen looks really young coz of the long hair i guess.

And i've bought If only those walls could talk 2 but my dvd player doesnt play it :( Don't know what to do to fix that...

I really do miss this show, so thank god for the dvds! its really one of the very few shows that ive laughed so hard i got teary eyed lol. corny but true!

and embarrassing fact, in 7th grade i use to dress like Audrey LOL (short lived but) i was obsessed with Pink, and thought she was the funniest thing, besides ellen of course. i know alot of people thought she was annoyin but she was so ditzy, and PINK, i loved that. now i dont like pink LOL how times change.
