DeGeneres, 46, and de Rossi, 31, first met nine months ago on a photo shoot, we're told.
[...] met up again at VH1's "Big in '04" awards gala in L.A. on Dec. 1, events took their natural course.
Ok... when i heard the news, i was devastated. And shocked. then i browsed a few websites to see de Rossi's face and i just couldn't believe it, i mean they would be a very strange couple for sure!!
But then i thought about it and i gota say this whole story doesn't make total sense. And it's not because the whole world is talking about it that it has to be true!
I mean maybe Degeneres and Hedison spliting up was not huge news for the media after they had seen what they could do with Heche-Degeneres coming out a few years ago! So they looked over the past few months and found this supposedly hot girl, lesbian too, who had split up with her girlfriend too, and who happened to have spent a few moments with Degeneres so they just started the rumour. And it's working, it's getting bigger every day.
And in the end, nobody will even remember who started the whole thing and Ellen will once again be caught up in the hectic media whirl.
On the other hand, the "no comment" leaves room for imagination..
