Is it true? If your ring finger is longer than your index...

I saw this on the L word, they say that if your ring finger is longer than your index finger then your a lesbian but if they're about the same length then your bi. Best way to test this is to put your hand flat on a table and completely flatten down your hand. My ring finger is waaaaay longer than my index :P

It's actually the ring finger and index finger(or sometimes called the pointer finger) being compared, the two fingers on both sides of your middle finger

Very little is 100% accurate, especially when talking about the human body & all of its variances. :) Still, lore is usually rooted in @ least a grain of truth...I wonder if this wasn't, too. It would be interesting to see if the majority of the board answers the poll.

On the sites, I read that the majority of women who were gay had longer ring fingers. Oh and it said it had something to do with testosterone or something...lol so for everyone else who's testing make sure you put your hand flat on the table

That reminds me of a story.... My friend told me that if the toe right next to your big toe is longer than your big toe, then you're gay. It was longer on one of her feet and shorter on the other. So she looks at me really confused and says " I don't get it, does this mean i'm bi?" It was really funny, she looked really confused. I don't know if i necessarily believe these things.

haha lol the toe thing reminds me of that movie Shallow Hal where Jason Alexander's character won't date a girl (who was totally attractive) just because the toe next to her big toe was a little bit longer

i just don't think that mother nature would have given itself the trouble to measure everybody's finger in order to give a sublte sign that most people are not even aware of!!!

but for what it's worth, my ring finger's size reflect my sexual preference :D and according to the poll i think 24% said "yep and i'm gay" and 26% said "nop and i'm gay" .... hehe :roll:

See I don't know about myself. I never notice the lengths of my fingers before. And then I played basketball and the ball went straight to my fingers. Now my fingers are not "straight" anymore... lol
