mine was Paige i thought she was funny & nice.. it was funny how she always said lil things that were really insulting but didn't even realize it lol

I've got to say Paige, too. I thought she was hilarious, and ridicilously obnoxious at times. I loved it! :P after the Ellen-Paige kiss, when Ellen asks :"was that your tongue?!" - and that face she makes - that is such a Paige moment...
Oh, and I liked Spence, too but Paige was way up ahead!
I think Fisher was cast perfectly and she made Paige her own.
Unbelievable chemistry between Paige and Ellen on screen.

well it wasn't literally 1 scene, she just ment that she appeared less than she used to. It was because Ellen got a g/f and some of the episodes focused on their relationship. So Paige somethimes flew out of the picture.

He seems much smaller than he was in the Ellen days.

have been the late 80's - I couldn't tell whether she was male or female! It "made"
me look up information to know for sure.

I didn't realise it @ the time when it was originally aired, but in retrospect, you're
absolutely right...the others rather fell to the wayside, which really was a shame.
Each had a lot to add to the overall chemistry of the show that I now see how it
was needed & missed.

Paige is cool too, i love that spa episode, when paige gets her head stuck in the gate, an ellen gets her top caught, - i thought that was jus utter class!!

I love everyone on the show. Who can resist Paige. And as annoying as Audrey is, she cracks me up. I must say though, besides Ellen ( of course) Spence is my favorite. He is so damn attractive and such a good character from a great actor.

Don't mind me posting.. I wasnt around when these were created so I just felt like giving my opinon.

My fave character was Audrey (firstly because i use to love pink, and i started doing my hair like audreys in 8th grade lol) I love when a character can be annoying, but not be that way in real life. but I also love paige, joely fisher is a great actress even though paige was kinda all for herself I always thought she was a great friend to ellen, and i like jeremy piven now because im a big fan of entourage, and thought he was quite funny on this show, i wonder if he and ellen are still friendly?

I liked each character in a different way...they all had their own unique qualities.

Audrey was so sweet, but couldn't take a hint, and had that aggravating quality about her of course.:p

Paige was obnoxious, and the complete opposite of Ellen, yet they were best friends.:p

Joe was very dry and sarcastic....I LOVE THAT!!:D

Spence was very driven, but had a temper at the same time, which sometimes got him into trouble.:p

But Ellen was the best...always getting herself into more trouble trying to always do the right thing.:)

I love her mom and dad... her dad especially may he RIP.

Audrey and her wearing pink all the time. She was obnoxious in the earlier series but turned out to be rather hilarious and not so negative.

Paige is so so funny because she is so self centered and has that thing to do with her hair.

Spence is just funny and smart and a great actor. His temper is what caught my eye.

Joe is great. The show wouldnt be complete with his sarcastic remarks.

I also loved Adam and was disappointed they let him go. That episode was sad.

And of course there is Ellen... pleasing people no matter what, kind of a push over, but never wants to be the bad guy.

The book group of course. Karen (pronounced Car en) but they kept calling her Careen, Coral, Crayon, Canteen lol

Actually I loved 'Anita' played by Maggie Wheeler in Season One (These Friends of Mine aka). Anita's character was hilarious and I thought she had a great rapport on-screen with Ellen. Holly was funny too, as was Adam. Season One, for me was the funniest. It had me rolling around laughing. When Season Two begun, Holly and Anita had gone, and Paige was the new character. No explanation where her pals had disappeared to! I have never heard why the cast changed between 1st and 2nd series, does any-one here know? It's a question that's bugged me for years. Thanks :)
