Though I've no idea about which ceremony it was from, that image really stuck out in my mind. It was not only for the fun of bearing a comical goose in public, but for the fact that you never really see the lady's legs on display. You know that this took some nerve to pull off, no matter how successfully. :)

That is the name of one of my 2nd daughter...really! I would've liked to have named our first daughter that, but the name of a late family member had to come in first.

That pic is from when Ellen hosted an award show(I can't keep the shows straight, so I won't try). The outfit was making fun of another celebrity who showed up at another awards show previously dressed in an outfit that was similar but on a smaller scale. Seriously!!! It really was "over the top" and so Ellen made fun of it by wearing that costume during part of the show that she hosted. The monologue to go along with the outfit refers (in a subtle way) to the other celebrity and the ridiculousness of it.

Ellen won an award for her suberb job hosting that night. Again, I can't remember what--Emmy, Oscar, Grammy who knows?? :roll: I'm pretty sure an Emmy, because Oscars are for movies and Grammy's are for music...
