i dont know if anyone will know, but if i get sky, will i be able to see ellens show? i live in the UK. and i am thinking that maybe you can only see it if you live in Canada or something.

8O sky is how you get heaps of tv channels to your home, buy payng for it monthly.

Hi, I've got Sky and I'm in the UK.

The Paramount channel has been re-running The Ellen Show - they just did the end of the Puppy Episode series at the weekend. I guess they'll be showing the final series soon.

But there don't seem to be any plans to show the talkshow in the UK at the moment. Perhaps we should get up a petition to send to Warner Bros?

There already IS a petition going for the UK (and for Holland as well).

It's not warner who decides on TEDS coming to UK. I can't imagine them being against it selling abroad. It's the UK TV stations. They got to be ready to buy the rights of the show.

(can you update on that Tartanfan? Tartanfan is the person who started the UK petition. I started the Dutch one. Are you even still on this board Tarty????). Tartan said, that if the stations wouldn't respond emmediatly she would keep on come on back and bombard them.

It's no problem if you also want to sign the Dutch petition. The more the merrier.
I will probably start approaching Dutch TV stationsmid- or end of January. But I will also leave the petition open for signing.

Ok, guys, if you have sky please help me out here, i want to no if you think its worth getting sky? i have found the cheapest way to do it is to get the family pack, which is pretty much all the channels except movies and sport. i checked the listings for ellen (on Paramount, 1 and 2) in the next few days and its doesnt say that shes on, whats that about! she has to be on!!!

yes it was showing on paramount 1 at 2pm then they changed it to 1:30pm now there not showing it at all. Maybe they'll start showing it in a few months. Sky is crap considering the amount it costs so I wouldn't bother getting it. Have you thought about freeview theres a channel on there called abc1 and that shows Ellen.

I got freeview and now they are repeating season 2 and 3 of Ellen for like the 6th time, I really want to see the other seasons.
I wanted to get sky but my parents wont let me, I only want it so I can see The L Word hopefully it will be on terrestrial soon.

i was either going to get freeview or sky for my room, we have freeview downstairs, as freeview is cheaper, one thinks one will go for that!

Freeview is ok, and abc is a recent addition to the channels.....suggest we all join the petition or send some e-mails.

Well, you can in fact, but it will show up in the IP adress list. (I must look into that, for I think I should be able to take off the IP's when sending the thing to the TV stations)
Twice under a different name won't really be looking suspicious as people can live together and share a computer. But you would have to type in two different e-mail adresses. otherwise the system rejects you for some reason.

petition is still up and open to be signed. Im still also open to suggestions of snail mail addresses to send it to.

and the sky question, my parents have sky back home, but are just recently taking their package down to a lower priced one (without all the film channels that no-one watches lol). There are so many channels on there that you'll never ever watch, but some are handy. I absolutely love paramount (it gave me my ellen video collection lol), livingtv (they show the L word, Will&Grace, Queer Eye for the straight guy) and also E! is quite a good channel for ellen stuff. even if its just a wee snippet on their news show, its more than we normally ever get over here.

thanks for the info tartan fan! i really just want to get thoes channels, and nothing else, lol. but i think i will just stick with freeview.
