Advocate Article

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the Advocate article. I got it last night at Borders. They ran the article just as if Ellen and Alex were still together. They didn't even include a side note that Ellen and Alex were no longer together. I liked seeing the pictures of her doing ordinary things, like making coffee in the morning, or setting her alarm clock when she goes to bed. I guess I didn't learn anything new, but I enjoy the photos!

I agree...I hadn't gotten the magazine yet when I heard the news about her and Alex, so I went to the Advocate website and they had a statement there about the breakup. Check it out at www.advocate.com. Ellen basically apologizes for the timing of it all and for any confusion it may cause readers and fans. It kind of takes the punch out of the whole article, really.

I believe that the article had already gone to print before the break up was made public and the advocate was not able to make changes to the article.

I live in the UK and dont have the Advocate over here, I wish I could see the photos, I think Alex is a great 'fellow' photographer. Does anyone know of any sites that the photos are on or anything.

yea, that stuff was all done when ellen and alex were still together, lol, but ellen talks about it at the site

i just bought it and i contains around 10 pages on ellen, pictures of her day from the morning to night, it's great

I was just about to get it on eBay but then of course my mom got mad and wouldn't buy it. She doesn't really like Ellen. You can get for a real good price on eBay. I almost got my for $9.00
