I read on another site that Portia used to be married to a guy. Does anyone know anything about that?

in her interview with the advocate...she explains that she only married in order to receive her green card...but then i don't know if she divorced or had the marriage annulled.

Portia was born and raised in Australia. She moved here about 10 years ago and in order to be a legal resident of the US, she married a some guy for a green card.

Oh oh, I know what that is, sandy plankton saw one, he said is was called a a butt ;) just kidding. You need a green card to live legally in the US. Then you can work there and stuff. I think either you have to marry an American man/woman or you can also win greencards. But I have no idea who portia was married to. :P

Another way that you can get a greencard to the US is if you are moving there to work and you can prove that there are shortage of American born people in this field.
