Interesting, PD & ED at 2004 Emmys

I was looking at a video of the 2004 Emmy Awards, where Arrested Development won for “Outstanding Comedy Series.” Ellen was the presenter. This was prior to Ellen and Portia leaving their partners. What I found intriguing was while on stage, during AD’s acceptance, Ellen appeared to be communicating something to Portia. When Portia looked over to her right she shook her head no. I feel that it was Ellen because the only person that was located in the area in which she was looking was Ellen, and the woman that brings out the Emmy statue. I wonder what she was asking her. :?:

No Ellen is not standing next to her. Portia is looking over to where Ellen is standing. You can't see Ellen in the picture. Look at this sequence, Portia puts her arm around the guy standing next to her. She looks down, then looks up to her right and shakes her head no. She pauses as if she is thinking about something, then looks over and shakes her head no again. Also, at the same time the guy that plays her husband waves to Ellen. Toward the end when they show the wide view of the stage, you can see Ellen is the only person that Portia could have been shaking her head no to.

There is another video on that same site under Miscellaneous Awards. It is an interview with Portia who actually walks away from the interviewer when she is asked about the picture of her kissing her girlfriend in one of those trash magazines. Link below, Take a look...

i didn't see when they talked to each other but nontheless i think it was amazing and wonderful that ellen got to give them the award! i love that. some things are just meant to be. (i know it's just an award but still.. out of all the people to give the award and of all the things to win). and that wendy williams is really something :x
