I don't like it at all. He didn't make it any more comfortable for the guest --- he just added a bunch of unnecessary things. The rotating chair is dumb, and the other chair was padded anyway. THUMBS DOWN.

I don't think Ellen likes it either. She seemed gracious but not enthused. I hope she has enough courage to change it if she doesn't like it. :P

It would be a real drag to go to see the show and wind up seated behind one of the chair wings!

Thom, the guy who build the new luxury box put a lot of work in it and I think Ellen really appreciated it. Of course we can tell she didn't really like it and I'm sure she'll probably will decide to change it later on, maybe before the end of Season 2 or maybe during Season 3 (I know she'll be on air for a very long time :wink: ). Ellen has mentioned on the show that she wants to keep the show fresh, so once something gets old and boring, she'll change it.

I think it might have been better and more liked by Ellen if it actually went with the rest of the set. He used dark woods and bold colors when the show's set is muted earth tones. It is like chaos in the middle of a meditation garden. I like what this designer has done on Queer Eye But he obviously did not do his homework on Ellen and the audience or else he would have known what energy the set brings.

Hrrrm ... I don't like it very much either. I was expecting something much different. :? Apparently Ellen doesn't like it because Ty Pennington (From Extreme Makevoer) is going to re-design it on Friday. Awesome. :D
