I will be attending the Ellen Degeneres Show 4 times this month
10th,24th,30th and I still need to confirm the 4th day with my sister. I will really like to be there on the taping for her birthday (26) and I hope they do it on the 24. I dont want to get my hopes up so if you know the date they will be taping her b-day please let me know. Thanks in advance. :)

i have a question, after that show, i mean the taping.. are they allow the fans to go to ellen and ask for an autograph or to take picture with her..

i really wanna know, because if they allow the fans to sign an autograph to ellen, then, there's a reason for me to go there and watch her live.. lol

that is wonderful that you get to attend the show four times and i hate to be the bearer of bad news but did you read on her ticket information on the "ellen Degeneres show" website? It says since there is a high request for tickets and you can't repeat visit or something. If they find out you've already been there once this season and they recognize you they can stop you at the gate and you will not be able to submit for a ticket. Although i do hope you get to go 4 times, check that out so you won't be dissappointed. That would be horrible to get kicked out.

I sign up all my family and friends for tickets and they called 4 of us including me. So all the tickets are not under my name just one day. I have been there twise before and they only ask for the person with the tickets info. Thanks for the info but I think its going to be OK. :) :)

you can't get autographs or pictures. She comes in does the show and then leaves. They specifically tell you that you can't ask for autographs or pictures. Which kinda sucked but I was lucky enough to be in the row she dances down so she danced right past me which was uber cool. I had to keep myself from reaching out and trying to touch her. That is also a big no no. lol but yeah it was fun.

I have been lucky enough to go to TEDS a few times and the audience doesn't really get to interact with her :-( . The pages at NBC tell some rules while waiting outside the studio to go in. No hugging, pictures (cameras are not allowed) and no autographs. Some people take her gifts, but they have to be signed in when you go through the metal detectors.

But it is still WAY wort it.

I went to a taping of the show yesterday (I was the idiot doing the sprinkler dance during the dancing on todays show, stop laughing). In regards to the person who gets to go 4 times this month, I would be careful the staff/crew doesnt recognize you. I had someone from the show call me today to give me tickets for a day I requested next month (before I got tickets for yesterdays taping) and they all of a sudden realized I was there yesterday and told me I cant come again until September, even under a different name. I could risk it maybe in a month or so, but 4 times in one month is cutting it close, you dont want to get banned forever!!
You dont get to interact with Ellen too much (other than dancing and cheering), she comes out and does the show and then afterwards tells everyone thanks for coming, etc etc and leaves. You cant bring cameras or camera phones in either. But even tho you dont get to talk to her, just dancing with her and bein so close was awesome! I was lucky that she sat at the end of our row of seats right before she was introduced so I waved to her and she waved back, but that was about it. Its totally worth it to go anyway, just get there to check in early!! PM me if you have more questions. :)
