hey everybody. i just wanted to suggest that we could try to break the "most visited" record from Feb. 2005. we could find a time where a lot of the user go online and try to break it! what do you think about it?

I know England is 6 hours ahead of central U.S. time. Australia is like 12 hours a head of central U.S. time.

So, I'm thinking if many of us log on between 2:00p.m.-5:30 p.m, U.S. central standard time. We should be able to make this work.

Hi Guys - I need some emotional support. I had planned to be in the chat room today, but it turned out to be a sad day here. We have been caring for our son's 14 year old Golden Retriever and unfortunately her healfth went downhill this AM, and the vet said she had to be euthanized. My heart is so heavy.......partly for the fact that my son and his wife won't be home for 2 weeks (traveling in Italy) and I will have to tell them then. Thanks for letting me vent. Enjoy your chat.

I'm sorry techmom. I love animals too and they have such short life spans. It's gonna be hard to tell him. I'm sure he realizes that his dog was nearing the end. It doesn't make it any easier. Pets are so wonderful to have in our life. We have to be greatful for the time we get and remember that they were so happy to be with us. I'm sure your son's dog had a good life. :)

well you guys set a new record ,congratulation!!!!!!!! it is surprising considering that with the new moderator and their new rules ,i tought that less people were actually coming here.i mean when new post with news about ellen`s website(the official one) gets locked and relagated to an obscur one that as like four pages already ,it makes it hard to follow up on whats going on in OUR ellen`s world but maybe it is just me and my aversion to too many rules and regulations.i guess from now on i`ll have to rely on other sources to keep up with ellen and her show .so long guys

i don`t get upset nor angry .i just speak my mind when something is bothering me ,its the canadian way where freedom of speech truly exist ,unlike some parts of the world where it is only a concept .we ,canadians , may not think of ourselves as god`s gift to the rest of the world but we are known to speak up once in a while.
good for you paula if you like the new mod`s but permitt me to disagree on a few of them.i think some of them are doing a wonderfull job, some of them should have stayed regular members

I think something is wrong with the "people online" counter thing. Right now it says that nobody is on, but I am, and I know of others that are on responding to a few threads.

I like this site. It is fun chatting with other people, plus getting info about Ellen and people's opinions. I think opinions are good and they should be welcomed without getting people in a tizzy. I know that i had responded to one topic about something and it seemed to offend some people. It wasnt even mean hearted, just an opinion. I will continue to come here. I might not write everything that I am thinking, or just not reply, but that is ok.

like i said paula , some of them are doing a wonderfull job ,others well....like we say im my country :if the hats fit ...... i dont want to hurt anyones feelings but some of the news mod`s are taking their new responsibilities a bit too seriously .this is just a fansite not a rocket building facilitie. i just dont like having to stroll pages and pages of replies to get to the news.it was fine the way it worked before .why fix an unbroken thing.and i really don`t appreciate strangers having access to my e-mail adress just for the remote chance that one day i might not be able to log in.personal info should remain personal and not be at the disposition of everyone who sucked up to visitor to get blue stars next to their names.sorry but it is my strong belief that rules of privacy should be respected and with that comment i dont really care if i have offended anyone`s sensibilities.
