I don't know about the rest of you but I sure as heck miss Alex a lot. It seems as if Ellen look tired often on her show and I wonder if that is attributed to not having Alex at home to slow her down a bit. :(

Is it true that Alex is suing Ellen for palimony? I just read it on the web somewhere and I just want to know if its true or not. They said if she does, it will be a very heavy financial burden on Ellen.

Geez, why can't they get back together? I just can't stand the thought of Ellen with that freak Portia.

Okay okay, I know Ellen is a happy camper with Portia (which I don't know why), but I just can't accept it yet. I'm sorry :(

I am fairly sure that that statement about Palimony was proved to be false. I am sure things are difficult right now and that there are legal issues they both have to deal with, because I know that they had gone to a lawyer to make sure they both had rights in the case of an emergency such as hospitalization and such.
Them getting back together, I just don't see given the circumstances. Anyhow, As much as I appreciate Ellen for her comedy and all the good things she does, she did leave Alex for someone else and I am pretty sure Alex is smarter than to get back in a relationship with someone who did that. Know matter how much you might love someone, you have to love and respect yourself first.

i just read about the legal action in yesterdays paper under hot gossip. this is old news i read it a couple of weeks ago on the web. Apparently the thing shes suing over had to happen in one of the states that its illegal in, like hawaii i think.
I also read somewhere that ellen said she still talks to alex evryday.

It is very hard to grasp the breakup. I find myself having mixed feelings. I believe you should be happy and I want Ellen to be happy, but we don't know what happens behind closed doors. I just can't believe one month you say your in love with someone. Then the next month you are dating someone else. I believe we all have gotten use to Ellen and Alex. I'm sure if it was Ellen and Portia, Ellen dumps her and goes after Alex, we would might be having the same feelings that we are having now. I just hope Alex isn't hurt. One thing that really bother me, when the breakup was first public,... on a Monday episode she had her ring on. Which was recorded the following Friday. Well Tuesday's show she didn't have her ring on and she seem like she was ok. That bothered me. I read where she was really heart broken when her and Anne split. I guess I figured we would see some emotions now.

She has to do her job and she can't let her emotions get in the way of that. It would be very unprofessional if she did. Also, It may be hard but on the other hand I am pretty sure it is not all that difficult when you are so obviously with someone else right away.
I like her a lot but a am sure feeling for alex.

yea, i saw her as well. in fact, she was there friday, and thursday and wednsday, the whole week, and hell! i hope we shall she her again, tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, in fact, I WANT ELLEN TO BE HAPPY! Their may not be a Portia anymore! Ellen has a ring on today. Unless it is a committement for her and Portia. I wouldn't think she would have one this soon would she.

i watch the show everyday and have yet to see Portia anywhere in the
audience. Where exactly does she sit????

If you are looking at the stage from the audience, Ellen's Mom and Portia (when she is there) sit to the far right about 4 rows back on the right end of the row. If you watch closely when Ellen enters the stage from the left (facing the audience) at the beginning of the show, you can sometimes see them from the front. Hope that this helps!
