Poor puppy is right. Does anyone know what happened to that dog? Supposedly her dog "Bean" got out of her house and a coyote "got it." Rumor has it that Portia had to be sedated to deal with it. Can't blame her, that would be horrible to go through.

I doubt they know each other personally, I just think it was a photo-op...they were both at the event and for publicity they posed together.

Anyway, Here is Betty attending Alex's exhibition in 2005...wonder if Ellen was upset that her mom attended the show.

I don't think Ellen was mad. She might've liked to go there herself but feared that the attention would be all on their break-up and not on the photography.

Ellen has said that she still cares for Alex sence they split up. I'm sure she was happy that her mama was there to show support. Of course Ellen couldn't go.
