I definately wouldn't have that (can't stand oprah), but are u sure of this ? 'cause I just might be able to get it for free somehow... I have to think about it... but even then I have no idea how I'd be able to post it on the site, I'm not all that good with computers :?

you would have to download a dvd ripper and then copy the files to the computer, and then upload them onto megaupload or something like that. or you could do it incredibly old school and record it with a digital camera or something and upload that. but then the quality isn't as good.

I've got Oprah's 20th Anniversay Disc... Ellen is definately on it ... its only a short bit (not the whole interview) ... she talks about how she didnt think Oprah would like her once she found out she was gay... or something similar like that.. I will see if I can upload it off the DVD ...

i still have ' a day in the life of television' thing on my tivo but the only thing is my computer is not compatiable to it to transfer the episodes. damn - if i only kept my windows laptop. i have the mac now. anyways probably the only way i could get it on here is if i record it with my cam. but then the quailty would probably suck. so it is up to you, whoever wants it, if you want me to do it that way. but i cant promise a specific date as to when i will have it on here because i got midterms to study for.
but hopefully someone here can get it in a better quality.

hello, ths the best site ever. back in mexico we don't get ellens talk show and now that i am living in u.s. i do not watch it because i have to telvision because i live in college dorm room and do not now anyone. and was wondering if there was any way i could get any or all of the ellen talk variety show downloads that anybody might have. i would realy like them thank you. from betty.

I think this one was around when huricane Katrina hit, because she signed the motorcycle before she left. anyway, she was talking about how she was on a diet and how it made her angry that she could not eat so she flipped off the diet, not the camera, as a joke.

ELLEN: Thank you very much. It's great being here, it's great being anywhere right now, great to be out of the house, just great to get away from the kids...
JAY: I didn't realized you had kids.
ELLEN: No, no, no it's just an expression. Good that are no kids here.
JAY: Just to get away from kids.
ELLEN: Just making conversation, Jay. I'm sorry, I'm just a little edgy right now. You can ask me anything you want.
JAY: Let's start with something light. What's new?
ELLEN: Oh, I see, you're asking about the breakup? OK, fine! Wow, I came here to relax, and right into the breakup stuff... Who told you, I told 2 people, how'd you find out?
JAY: I read it in the National Enquirer.
ELLEN: oh, that was one of the guys I told, damn it, what, they published that? (laughter & applause), I just told him.
JAY: How are you doing?
ELLEN: I'm good, I'm really good, they say what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, and I'm just extremely strong, I don't want to be any stronger, I really don't, I'm so strong, I feel I could fight that wrestling woman, that giant Chynna - What's her name, I think I could kick her ass, I really do - Do you know her, is she single, tell her Hi! (laughter and applause).
JAY: Have you been keeping busy?
ELLEN: Yes, I've been writing a lot, well, I've been keeping a journal, I brought my journal cause I thought I could read it.
JAY: Do you want to read from your journal?
ELLEN: I do
JAY: That must be it there
ELLEN: What's it doing here? Imagine my surprise
ELLEN: (reading) "I decided to keep a journal, to explore my inner most feelings, feelings I will not share with anyone or I suppose I could read it out loud on national TV, like say, on the Tonight Show with Jay Leeno" (you don't spell your name with 2 E's do you? No, it's one, its Leno. Yeah but my assistant wrote this, I'm sorry, when I say I write I dictate and my assistant writes.That's all thats in here. Then back here I just have some stuff you probably don't want to hear, just some song lyrics I wrote (applause and whistles) Well, OK, I didn't imagine I'd read it but, this is a song, I don't have any music yet, I don't play an instrument, it's just lyrics :

"yah, yah, yah, yah
no, no, no, no
woo, oh woo
hey, hey, hey
(she says "Then the chorus")
Love sucks, I hate love"

Then something I don't know what I'm gonna rhyme with that, then:
Oops, I did it, I let the dogs out, I did it, I'm the one I let them out, I don't care either, yeah

Then there's a guitar solo, I don't know how it goes, then back to the chorus
That's all I've been doing... (laughter and applause)

Then what I've found when you are getting out of a relationship, it's impossible to listen to the radio! Every song is about love, every song is about being in love, being with someone perfect or being heart broken. It's just crazy, I found the only song I can listen to and be comfortable with is Peter, Paul & Mary's "If I had a hammer".....That's the only song that isn't about love, but then I found it's hard to relate to it, I don't know, maybe because I have a hammer, and I think if you listen to it, it's geared towards people who don't have a hammer. Maybe in the beginning, before I had a hammer I thought I'd hammer in the morning, I'd hammer in the evening if I had one of those things, you know, but once you get a hammer you find you don't really hammer as much, you know? (laughter and applause)

JAY: Are you back in the whole dating scene?
ELLEN: Well Jay, Can I call you Jay? Do you have a nickname like something shorter - Joe
JAY: Jay Leeno is fine.
ELLEN: I call you Joe. You know what's hard is being known, being famous, it's hard because you don't know what peoples motives are, it's hard, people who hit on me, usually know me and know who I am, and the people who don't know who I am are....usually.....men... (laugher & applause)
JAY: How do you deal with it, you can't stick your head in a bag?
ELLEN: No, that's stupid, no, I wear a ski mask, you know? I need the breathing hole for my mouth & nose, so I can breath. Of course I could cut a hole in the bag, but I have money, so I can afford a ski mask. It's my way of saying don't treat me like Ellen DeGeneres, just treat me like any ole skier you'd meet... And then people are still just crazy, I was in the bank the other day, and bells are going off, and people are screaming, it's like they've never seen a celebrity with a ski mask and a hammer before... (laughter and applause)
JAY: You seem to be doing well after such a public breakup.
ELLEN: Well, yeah, you know, life goes on, but you know what also happens, is you find that your insides, there's like a war going on between your organs. Like your head is saying to your heart, you're not going to feel again, ever, see what you get for feeling? You just don't feel anything ever again. Then the brain becomes the leader of the entire body, which I've always said, the brain is the most important organ in the entire body, but look who's making me say that, my brain. Your heart is saying "what if I fall in love?", your eyes say "hey, see what I see? look over there". The brain says "you're the only one who sees genius", then the heart says "but that felt good, I want to feel good again". Then the bladder says "excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom", then the skin says "is there an organ meeting going on, that nobody told me about, I'm the largest organ." so then, I don't know (smiling).....(laughter & applause)
JAY: So you sound like you are in turmoil?
ELLEN: Turmoil? NO, is that what you got from that? sometimes you don't seem to be with me Jay. No, what I'm trying to do is take something positive from it, they say if life gives you lemons make lemonade. It didn't give me lemons, it gave me a very painful, public, tabloid humiliation..., so I was like, how can I make a juice from that? Then I thought maybe I'm taking this too literal, maybe I don't have to make some kind of beverage from my hardship. I could make some tasty snack item, I made cookies...I went into the kitchen and just looked what I had...They were very very bitter and, yes, I called them 'God I'm lonely's' which was no trademark on, so I got lucky, and the people who did try them didn't technically 'enjoy' them so I didn't market those. But what I found Jay, Joe, was that it took me out of dispair and elevated me into a very very deep depression. Then I found I was sleeping all the time. I slept through anything, through noise, the alarm clock. Then I found I lost weight from the shear number of hours of not being awake, and people are always looking to lose weight. So maybe I could market this, I came out with a workout tape called "Sleeping through the Oldies".
JAY: Did you have a clip?
ELLEN: Yeah I brought.
(They showed a clip of Ellen in bed sleeping with "Rock Around The Clock" blasting)
JAY: Did you sell a lot of the tapes?
ELLEN: No, the one's who'd buy them are all too depressed, but then that took me out of that and I wasn't depressed anymore and went into miserable...which are the stages of grief, theres: dispair, depression, horribly horribly sad, horribly sad, then miserable. So it wasn't until I got to the miserable stage that I found this product that I think will sell.. (They show a clip of her crying and blowing her nose with kleenex, rolling it up in a ball and throwing it on the floor, with a dozen other balls of kleenex and her 2 cats playing with them) And here we have cat toys...
JAY: They seem to love them.
ELLEN: And I'm gonna call them "Sad Grabbers", that's what they are, the cats just love them....
JAY: What's happening to your new TV show, do you have a show coming out?
ELLEN: I do, eventually, it seems I'm talking about this show forever, I promise I do, it's a show that will be out eventually.
JAY: We should watch that.
ELLEN: Just keep watching CBS until then. Ooh, Or watch this show. The show will probably start shooting in January, and hopefully being on...
JAY: What are you doing until then?
ELLEN: I have nothing going on until I'm going to exercize my right as an american citizen and I'm going to vote.
JAY: Can I ask you this - What are voting for?
ELLEN: Well this may coming surprising to you but I'm gonna vote for Gore. That's right, I vote for Gore. And I have nothing against the dump one, at all. I really don't. Nothing at all, just because he is dump. Listen, I'm kind of dump but I'm not running for president. And I'm not a politically person, I know that I'm losing some fans by saying I'm a democrat but I think I lost my republican fans when I said I was gay. They didn't even listen to me, they probably having their heads down and praying for me right now. So I'm voting for Gore. Here is what I don't understand. I wish all people would agree. I don't like the argument thing. I wish we would all agree to vote for Gore.
JAY: We should watch your show eventually.
ELLEN: Yeah, I think you should.


Dwight Yoakam performes a song and then came to the interview.

Dwight: Hello Ellen. How are you.

Leno: Did you hear the song she wrote? She didn't have any music.

I have never seen this before..well i think i did way back when. Anyways i cried through most of it. It broke my heart a little. Ellen is sooo strong! I wish i had seen this when i needed to see someone else be strong instead of me. Everyone who is quesitoning their sexuality or what not or questioning about whether to come out to everyone or anyone should watch this! its inspiring!! thanks so much for posting this on youtube so i could see this...xoxo thanks it made my night...

A guy who comes into my work his niece is that girl Oliva in the musical! I almost died when he came into my work to tell me that she was going to be on there...his brother apparently used to work with ellen all the time...and funny thing he doesnt talk to his brother!! ahhhg!! not so good for me...

As far as the youtube clips of her with dian sawyer..it is weird to see her with Anne and see her bein like i am so happy and this is forever...its strange to me but at the time that is what they (she) thought it would be. it was interesting i have to say it breaks my heart to see her crying and i would love to ask her if looking back now did she ever think that she would be where she would be now then?? probably not...what an example when you think that your life is over...look at her...Ellen..amazing...xoxo
