It's like 30 something hurr in Michigan but it's hella windy and so it makes it seem colder. I hate Michigan weather...it can be really warm one day and be snowing the next, lol.

wasnt it weird though to see people cruising around the city in short sleeves? and all the buildings still had their heat on, so then it was even hotter, i took my little sister to rockafeller center for the tree lighting and she wasnt even wearing a jacket.. yikes, i am ready for the colddd

Round Lake, IL; Snow Day. 11.6 inches and 20 degrees. The wild thing; it was almost 70 on Wednesday. Must love the Chicagoland area. It was actually nice to watch Ellen instead of taping her.

right now in beautiful Montreal ,in the great white north ,it is -5c./23f and snowing . roads are icy ,as we learned this morning when my roomate lost control of her car and slammed on the side of the side walk .

It's been crazy cold here in central California. It's been in the 20's for several nites. Doesn't usually get this cold here until January or February. Little Jack Frost has been flocking everyones grass and roof tops. It snowed here twice in my life time. The last time was about 8 years ago. Woke up to a foot of snow in my yard. I think we might get some this year too. It always snows in the mountains around here but it's wierd to see it in my yard. Last Christmas I was wearing shorts and had the windows open because I wanted a fire in the fireplace while the kids opened thier presents. Might need the fire this Christmas.

Last night we got about a foot of snow and this time it stayed on the ground! Lately, everytime it snowed, as soon as it hits the ground, it would disappear (wet snow.)

It's pretty cold here. At the moment it's -6C/21F and tonight the temperature is gonna be -10F/14F.

It's kinda snowing a few flakes here and there, but none of them are staying. I looked at The Weather Network's 14-day forecast and it said its supposed to be like 15C on December 21 :? Snow for Christmas is looking impossible. Mind, same thing happened last year and it ended up snowing Christmas Eve. So we'll see.

its cold here...i wrecked part of my car yesterday night on the guard rail...my entire life flasing before me...scariest thing ever in my life...ug...so scared..but i am ok...my car needs a bumper and rear panel and maybe a door...anyways i am ok...take my cold weather..it is making me miserable....xoxoxo :(

The last three days we've had snowquall warning with high winds (up to 110km/h). The temperature has been quite cold too....people here really don't know how to drive in the snow.... one more months til spring... unless it'll arrive late since winter didn't actually arrive until the beginning of January... :roll:

Well it has warmed up to a whopping 9 degrees here in sunny southern Illinois this morning.....and happily not much wind to speak of so far today. I saw a robin yesterday morning, hopping around on the frozen ground....I sure hope that he knew what he was doing here....robins are supposed to be a sign of the arrival of spring weather! :cool:

That picture was taken in Oswego New York which had a huge snowfall just a few weeks ago, and some more after!!!--they got over 68 inches in three days time and was in a state of emergency. It is about 45 miles away from me--but fortunately--didnt get that much around here!!!!!

I'm ready for some cold weather. My mother in law can't take air conditioning with her arthritice. The time of day I dread the most is cooking dinner time. I'm such a sweaty mess by the time we sit down to eat. :cry:
