Could anyone help me burn the teds episodes onto DVDS?

I have windows media player and when I click burn it says to burn onto an audio cd and I want audio and video.

Is there another program I should use?

I was going to ask a question a bit similiar to this so maybe this is a good place to post it. Does anyone know how to convert/copy VHS tapes to dvd? Preferably without using a computer? I tape Ellen on VHS every week and would love to be able to put the episodes on dvd. Any help would be lovely. Thanks!

a dvd recorder would be the best was, play the vhs tape and record it with the dvd recorder-easiest way.

ellenfannn, I would also recomment Nero to burn the clip onto DVD

I tried downloading the free Nero trial but the file was way too big and would have taken over 11 hours to download & I just dont have that time.

Are there any other ways?

OH and kagaroos I dont think I have a re-writable dvd drive :-(

Thanks. I was thinking that may work but I wasn't sure. Any brands you can suggest for a dvd recorder? I've only seen one and I think it was Sylvania? I'd be so happy if I can get this to work. :)

OK..here goes ...

One of the easiest programmes i've found was DVDsanta (you can download it free). This just asks you to click on the programme you want to convert onto a DVD and away it goes.

The easier option still is to buy a DVD player with built in hard drive then you can record anything you like from your TV and burn it straight onto a DVD without having to mess about and convert it etc. etc. etc.

Enjoy!! :P
