Clips and videos help.

I, and a lot of others, need clip and video help.

There are a few questions I have that I'm hoping some of our video up loaders can help with.

1.When there is a clip on a website(Ellentv.com, The Oscar diaries, etc.), how can I save those videos to my computer?
Because I know you can't just right click and save.

2. I have a DVR for my TV, and I know there is a way to get things on it to my PC, but I don't know how.
It has a USB port right in the front, was experimenting with it, and it did nothing. Anyone know?

3. If I have DVDs and I want to put them on my PC so I can get certain clips, what do I need to do? Any special programs, anything?

I mainly just feel rude have a new request for clips from all the nice people on this forum, when I have all the clips I want, but don't know how to get them on my comp.
And I'm hoping to put my YouTube to good use, make my own videos, and be one of the ones who help people with clips on here.

edgeyoukated, I love ya darlin but I'm an old lady now. Why is your type so tiny lately? You're makin me squint to read your replies. I have always loved your input and posts. Can you make it bigger or is it out of your control.

I am in a similar boat with edgeyoukated. But I can get in on my pc but I don't know how to extract video clips in small pieces. I'm sure one of these intellegent peeps here will have some good advice. :)
