videotape to computer??

Are there some cords I can buy to put videotape footage on the computer? I found this tape the other day with interviews with Ellen on Australian shows after EDTV came out. Any way I can upload them?

well, it isn't so easy to answer your question...
My question is: Does your PC has got a PC/TV-card or something like that?

I think there are a lot of ways to connecting your videorecorder with your computer.
Maybe this works:
pc: chinch (here you can find a pic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_connector )
videorecorder: scart adaptors with Input/Output signal switch ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scart ) and/or chinch.

Hope it makes sense and you understand my notation.
