Anne Heche and Portia De Rossi in an arguement scene!

hey guys some of u may have seen this already... u know the scene in ally mcbeal season 4 where john cage is upset because richard stole his baseball gloves without asking? well i just love when anne and portia have there little arguement about anne's character knowing about portia's character nelle being spanked... portia comes out with the line... "maybe john should spank you... that way we'd know if u could take a good lickin and keep on tickin'"! cos anne's character has tourets syndrome! i love the episodes with anne cos it's really fun to see them work together! i have the dvd's but someone should try and upload it for fans who want to see it! i dnt know how 2 sorry!

You're welcome. Actually, "Ellen" was mentioned in "Ally McBeal" twice. One time Georgia (Courtney Thorne-Smith) thinks, a client is a lesbian and says "You look at me like you wanted to say 'Hey, let's watch Ellen together!'" There's another scene in a later episode, where Ally wants to prove that she does like lesbians and says "I wrote several letter to ABC when Ellen was cancelled!"
I like it, when one of my favourite shows is mentioned in another one of my favourite shows. :-D

so glad i started this post i knew you guys would be interested in that scene! suprised it wasnt bought up b4! this was filmed in 2001 after the whole ellen/anne relationship! but anne and portia used to be really good friends along with that other woman who was at that charity event with ellen and anne last year... GINA PHILLIPS thats the name! she used to be billy's secretary in ally mcbeal! also there is another funny scene were richard is accusing a witness of being a viscous lesbian and portia's face is soooooo funny! it's series 2 of ally! there are loads of scenes were richard and ling mention stuff about lesbians ans you can see that portia looks kind of uncomfortable! xx love ally mcbeal it's the best!

Thanks for clearing that up for me about Anne and Ellen. if back then Anne was still with Ellen and Ellen visited Anne on the set of Ally McBeal, Ellen would have met Portia then and who know if that did happen what if they got together back than how interesting would that have been. :)
