I finished watching all of Ellen: season 5...which is heartshattering, in every sense of the word...I just kinda sat there...not knowing what to do with myself.....almost in tears...I then realised I had it on dvd and could watch it all over again...which is now, what I've been doing with my time... Lmaoz!:P It's so sad that it had to end...:/

I remember an old tv sitcom in Israel that reunited after twnety years to do a special "twnety years later" episode for Isral's independence day.
Wouldn't it be great if Ellen's cast an crew unite to have a spacial epi 10 years after the Puppy?

That would be cool, but I think Ellen is way too busy for that.

Yeah that damn network cancelling her show is the blame. If they would of just chilled there would of been more. I still down't see what the big deal was... made me so mad. Can't believe it was 10 years ago already!

Perhaps at some point Ellen could have the cast of her old show on as guests.
That certainly would work into Ellen's schedule and could be just as nice as what might end up being a clip show anyway. :)

She's had Joely Fisher on her show a few times, Betty White (TES)... but I can't think of anyone else she could of had except when she had the cast of Entourage and Jeremy Piven was absent...

I was thinking of an show devoted to her old sitcom, rather than them being there for other things.
Still, she has had a good number of the bigger name people that were on the show.

Not that many people (except hardcore fans) really sat and watched season 5, everyone was saying she tried to make a politic statement and all the episodes in season 5 was like a lesson on being gay etc. But Season 5 was one of my fave seasons, ellen and her character were being true and honest, and even if most of season 5 episodes were saying the word lesbian or gay, so what..if you were a fan of ellens, and the show they should give it a chance. i think what she did for tv was brave, and she was only bringing tolerance towards the subject and making people realize there is no difference between gay or straight or w.e. so i happen to love this season.
But i do have a question about it, ya'll remember that one episode where laurie was in the hospital and anne heche (karen) was there in the waiting room, was she like literally there, or was that like all in ellens mind like she was saying because (i like to be literal) how did karen disappear so fast without anyone seeing.
also, i love joely fisher does anyone know where i can find her first interview on the ellen show?

I think that was the only time she was on the show. I have all five seasons on DVD and I don't recall her being on any time prior to the episode in the hospital.

Anee was in an other episode in season 5 its episode 8 about 7mins in to it paige and ellen are sitting outside the coffee shop talking and anne is sitting at the table next to her . ellen turns and ask her for a spare napkin and anne gives her a weird look.

Sorry for the confusion, i meant Joely has been on ellen's talk show more than one time, i think shes been on a couple times, i was wondering if anyone had the other time she was on besides the one that was linked, lol sorry i didnt mean anne.
But anne was on ellen's sitcom 2 times, but only once was a speaking roll. she was on the other episode called "all ellen, all the time" she just gave ellen a weird look at the table when she asked her for something
Joley was on TEDS on before. I think it was season one.

Joely's been on TEDS a few times before. I know she was on during the third season and fourth season, but I don't think she's been on since then. And I'm sure she was on once or twice before that, but I never saw those episodes.

oh wow, hello. i dont know why i didnt look there first LOL thanks, so i guess i would be out of luck trying to find the first interview on teds, because i never saw it :( weeps. maybe she has a fansite ill look lol
i loveee the episode where ellen and joely kiss lol, its funny. i really liked how open and unafraid she was in season 5, pushing the envelope i loved it.
and actually use to like anne, but that was only because she was with ellen, if she never was i would have never known who the heck she was. lol

It predates my starting to watch TEDS.
They reran a show that was a few days later during the summer after the end of season 3, but not the episode she was in.

I seriously LOVE the Ellen sitcom.
And i am not just saying that because she's in it (although it helps :P) it is so damn funny. Usually i smile and chuckle at sitcoms, and laugh out loud every now and then, but at ELLEN... i am dying from laughing! The lines are just so funny! So well written!
Its a shame it isnt on DVD here in Australia, I watch it on tv. But if it ever comes out, i will be buying it straight away, I am amazed at how funny and great every single member of the cast is!

I have Ellen's sitcom on DVD, but have not watched it in a loooooong time. My DVDs are still at my house, and I'm still living at my aunt's house. I need to get them the next time I go over there.
In the meantime, in the very last episode of her sitcom, didn't she channel Lucy, and do a stomping grapes scene? Is this episode available somewhere online, Youtube, anywhere until I can get to my DVDs? I've recently become completely interested in I Love Lucy, and I thought about Ellen doing this in the last episode of her sitcom.

yeah, she did that scene, except I think they were coffee beans in the Ellen episode :) I could be wrong about that though. Anyway, there is a channel on youtube that has almost all episodes, and if I weren't at school right now I'd find the exact video. But here is the channel:

Thanks for the link to that channel. I subscribed. I loved the sitcom and own all 5 seasones on DVD. When Ellen started the sitcom is when I started to love her.
I`m surprised there isn`t a way to order those from overseas. I got mine from BestBuy. :)
