I think thats something only you can know. pysically who do you tend to be attracted to male or female? how do they make you feel? these are questions that you have to ask yourself and it make take a while to be able to answer then for yourself. It took me abut 3 years of denial before i finally admitted to myself

but l never have this kind of feeling from a male.
am l too young so that l won't pay speacial attention towards male.

l don't know this kind of uncomfortable is because of shyness or ....

taren how old are you? but anyway, it doesn´t matter how old you are cause some of us know it at a very young age and some get it later. i just can talk for myself and i´m 24 and found out when i was 23. it´s never to late to be true to youself. i always saw tendancies but i never wanted to be gay but what could i do, i fall in love and that´s the best felling in the world. just give it some time and listen to your heard.

and you did the first step, question youself and talk about your feelings. you will find out the truth.

i dont think 17 is too late at all... im 17 and i have recently been going through the same thing as you, iv realised i am gay i have never been with a girl more than a kiss though but its just a feeling i have inside... i cant imagine myself ever with a guy i try to imagine kissing them and its a gross feeling to me lol if had quite a few boyfriends but it never lasted long at all i would always loose intrest after a week i thought it was just b/c i was too young to have feelings like that for anyone but then i realised i could definitly have those feelings for a girl and make a relationship last past a week

Just for good measure, I decided to google the word "Lesbian". This is what the search engine provided me with:

-Of or relating to females who experience a sexual attraction toward and responsiveness to other females; a homosexual female.
-A female homosexual. Also used the word lesbo which is a slang term for a lesbian.
-A woman whose sexual orientation is toward other women.
-a female homosexual, a resident of Lesbos(Lesbos is a Greek island)
-A lesbian (lowercase L) is a homosexual woman. Lesbians are sexually and romantically attracted to other women. One could argue that one is not a lesbian (as a noun) but lesbian (as an adjective). This would depend on self identification, and is different for most lesbians/lesbian women.

The last definition comes from Wikipedia.org, and is the one who holds the most merit in my opinion. What it basically says is this:

A lesbian is an individual who's sexual and romantical interest lies within other women, not men. Also, it is up to you to decide whether you find that lesbianism defines your entire personality, or that you feel it's just a small(though important) piece of you.

As I am standing farther away from the picture(so I'm not staring myself blind on the details), I can tell that there's life beyond lesbianism. For you this is probably less obvious because sexuality is a big part of knowing yourself(which is very important mind you). And something that starts happening at around your age.

The point I am trying to make is that whether or not you are a lesbian, comes second to you feeling good about yourself. If you are a kind, good, loving and caring person, then you have nothing to worry about in relation to yourself, even if others tell you differently, just trust me on that.

Being a guy I obviously lack the experience to really understand what you are feeling, so just take this post as a theoretical writing, aimed to help wherever it can... if you find something usefull...just grab it! And if you don't, that's totally cool too. :)

we can barely see her on the TV and newspaper and our channel never broadcast her show.

Ok, so I know there is really not a lot of point in asking someone else, particularly someone who doesn't know you, whether or not you are gay. Obviously this is something everyone needs to discover for themselves. But there are pointers right? I mean, we can learn from other people's experiences. Anyway, I'll get to the point. I have been asking myself this question for a long time (Am I a lesbian?) Well, I do find some girls attractive but I think that is probably natural for all people to find other people attractive regardless of their sex. I have never been with a girl but I fantasise about it. So is this just curiousity or something more? I guess you are going to tell me I won't know until I try. And I know that is true, just thought I'd put it out there...

You're so right. Just go with the feeling taren. So what if it's a girl? So what if it's a man? Maybe you're gay. Maybe you're straight. Maybe you're bi. It's all about who you fall in love with.

From personal experience, it doesn't matter if your too young. I guess I've known all my life. I just didnt act on my tendencies what i was younger. Until I found out that my bestfriend was a lesbian and she liked me, I was curious, so I tried it. We've been together ever since. I was 14 when we first started dating and I am now 20!! And getting married next year!!! I think that you should at least try it if your interested, you never know for sure unless you try it, if you like it than your a lesbian if you dont than maybe your not!

i work in retail. so meet all sorts of people. an there is this one really cute girl who comes in (for ciggies- which is off putting) but she really is absolutley gorgeous. and has the most beautiful smile, and is always so sweet, and i try desperatley not to, but when ever she turns round to walk out, i find my self checkin' out her ass, then realise what im doing and slap my head, curse, an get on with my work.

Yeh but what is it that you feel for her? As im a teacher-in-training and if a student confesses something like that.. there is alot of paperwork (looking at it from the teachers perspective).

But on the other hand, im sure we can safely say that we have all fallen for our teachers at once stage in our schooling life (male or female) and maybe the attraction you have to them is that of somone that you look up to and admire and perhaps inspires and motivates you - hence why you have an attraction to that person.

The other alternative may be to perhaps tell someone close to you who also attends the same school as you, casue generally once you have told someone of your feeling - chances are someone will turn around and say "yeh I once had that feeling also..." or it could answer the question you asked above.

Anyhow the advice I have given you, is what they have told us to do at uni if we ever find ourselves attracted to a student. So hope it helps you.
