I'm guessing these two were really close friends. She did guest appearances on Ellens sitcom twice and one of their scenes was HILARIOUS in the episode "You Go Girlz"

Anyways i dont know how they met or how long they've been friends or anything. I wonder if they're still good friends now

Those are so funny! Thanks for sharing...and I think they're good friends still. I may be wrong but I think Ellen is Godmother to Kathy's kid. And I remember reading an article back when Alex and Ellen were still together about how they went out with Moon Zappa and Kathy Najimy to celebrate Alex's art show.

Thanks for sharing the pix. They do look very close. Also if I'm not mistaken when Kathy was on ellen (the talk show) she said that ellen was in the delivery room when she had her baby. She also said when the baby was born the doctor was handing the scissors to kathy's husband but ellen took them instead and she was ready to cut the cord. I thought that was funny.
I hope they are still friends.
