How do you know if someone is attracted to you?

Ok I am new here so hello everyone...I know this sounds like a silly question but how do you know if someone is interested in you? This woman and I have become fast friends and get along well together. We have found we have a lot in common and it is spooky. We have never asked about each others orientation but I think we both have the same feeling about it. It's just a feeling.

I have noticed when we are together she rubs her face and her neck a lot especially when we are riding in the car. She would even tap her teeth sometimes. I have been reading about body lanuage and some suggest these are signs of attraction but what do you all think? Our relationship right now is purely friendship, but I am wondering if she wants more. I am afraid to do anything as I do not want to ruin a great freindship. I should probably just ask her but I am not sure how either. Any advice would be appreciated.

Im probabley not the best person to give advice as my best mate fancied me for years and I never knew but just to start you could talk to her about something linked with orientation and see what her reaction is. Or she might even just come straight out to you...who knows? Apparently this works even though I have never tried it and hopefully you might get the reaction your looking for. Hope this helps a bit!

umm.. people usually tell me that they are. So,maybe she hopefully will. The body language stuff throws me off a bit becasue sometimes it is not a sure thing,but it usaully is a good indicator. I guess I am not that helpful afterall. I usually find out by other people or them. Eye contact is a dead ringer for attraction,but make sure she is not "experimenting" lol really I am not being an a** h*** it happens. Good luck and welcome-Khia

Hi Midwesta, Yeah its something Ellen said once and i thought it was really funny and i gave it a go. The person i said it to gave me a funny look and then just laughed. I should do it again sometime, maybe in a truth or dare game!lol You knows you said that eye contact is a real give away that someone likes you...is that really true?
