did ellen richmond have a love interest on the ellen show (apart frm bunny lol) ive only seen a few eps and was just wanderin.

I've seen every episode except one from watching it on Youtube, and all the episodes I've seen she hasn't. Not one, and not much of her sexuality was brought up except for the first two episodes. I've seen 18 of them and there is only 19 episodes before i was cancelled :-(

I've seen most of the eps (I think) and as far as I know she never had a love interest. I think they talked about it in the first ep that she'd just broken up with someone, and it was implied that she was still getting over her. Then there was that PE teacher who had a thing for her, but that wasn't exactly reciprocated.

I think that tis sitcom came out at the time that Ellen was trying to convince people that she wan not ''too gay''. She (as she has admitted to other intervies) after the whole thing with the puppy episode and the cancelation of her previous show realised that probably it was ''too much '' the whole story for the midle american families. Probably not by her fault but due to the medias keep recycling her words about being gay. And as we all know (and mostly ellen) there are more interesting things about her than being gay. I think she was trying to make a new start and proove that she can have a career not based on the publicity of her coming out. So from the one edge (exploring the lesbians relationship in every episode) she went to the other edge (a lesbian without relashinships at all). But in reality in my opinion that was the reason the sitcome was also cacelled. This thing was not Ellen. Ellen is a very privite person and she is not an activist. Not from fear but because that is her character. But in both cancelled sitcoms I think what we saw was not excacly Ellen. In the Ellen series was an Ellen more extrovert than she is in reality. And at the Ellens show an Ellen more introvert than she is actually. And I think that when ellen herself realised that people may be crazy may be scared of truth and maybe want to make all the other people hide their own truth but they still have the truth-radar, she found her balances and no one can accuse her for anything anymore. At the end of the day when someone exposes its own truth and nothing more nothing less they actually appriciate. And that happened with TEDS.
