And I know that there are in the air some prejudices about Anne but I think if Anne was not the way she was she couldn't have supported Ellen at this period as she did. She is probably crazy but only a crazy person would stand by Ellen this time. Her career was also threatened and injured seriously, it should have been also a shock to realise that she might be gay (imagine that Ellen needed almost 20 years to say and accept who she was and for Anne only few weeks) and at the end of the dayEllen had her reasons for exposing herself but Anne had more to loose than win. Imagine this period that Ellen had all this problems in her mind to have also Anne crying on her shoulder because she lost a few roles and feeling responsible for the problems she caused her!

And I think that (maybe I am wrong) that probably Portia is the perfect fit of Ellen mayby Alex was the perfect partner but Anne was the actual Ellen's crash . Whenever I see them together I have the feeling that Anne is the strong caracter and Ellen the person ''under protection'' In all the others photos with other girlfriends it is completely the opposite. And this does not mean that ellen is not en general very strong carecter but this period she was very vulnerable. And Anne was there to wear the ...pants and hold her at her free fall. Of course after that you may be right that she added actually an extra stone at Ellen's neck but until then I think she was the perfect fit for the situation.

I really don't like that picture of Ellen in a dress at some award show. God, she looks kinda old or a soccer mom! She looks much better now, and I'm glad she doesn't wear dresses anymore. Come to think of it, I haven't worn one in years either. I hate them too.

It's funny that this was posted a few days ago on the same day that I actually got this tape in the mail! In one way it spoiled the ending for me, but in another way, I'm glad someone pointed it out because I would have watched it that night and been totally shocked at the end! Although, I'm not really crazy about seeing Ellen in bed with Anne...Anne is just not one of my favorite people...not to make anyone mad around here, that's just my opinion! I love Portia though...LOL!!!

Agree with you..100%Yes Ellen has said in a Mag that she did not want to be in that love scene with Sharon Stone . Ellen said that Anne talked her in to it . Ellen said that was a bad time in her life.I so happy that Ellen found Portia . :cool:
