That is Portia's bag that we've seen her carry around on lots of occasions. Ellen even made a comment on one of her shows about "why do people need such large bags" - so now she's carrying it!!! :lol:

We don't often see Portia without sunglasses in the paparazzi pictures, so that is interesting.

Sometimes people who don't want to tan (or who burn easily... and Ellen seems like the latter) are more likely to cover up their arms than legs, cos their legs are less likely (and their arms more likely) to burn when they're walking around. I only know this cos my girlfriend does the same thing all the time cos she burns in the sun: short shorts, long-sleeve shirts.

I think it looks kinda cool... one more thing to add to the "Quirky Things I Love About Ellen" list. I'd add "Ellen carrying a Berkin bag" to that list, but I agree with others: I think she's just carrying it for Portia - she's so chivalrous sometimes, it's just adorable :)

P.S. If Ellen is so bored this summer, well... I wanna be Ellen :D

Ellen is holding the keys in her right hand. I don't see her moving in a way that suggest she is pushing buttons to unlock though. I think most people tend to point the keys at the car when using those.

I do hope she locks her car. 8O

Mine is pretty old, but I always lock it. It is not a Porsche by the way, it is the Chevrolet version of the Toyota Corolla. :)

I believe we call them "sandles" or "tongs" or "slipons" here...I don't really think she wears those as "slippers" to bed. :P But of course, you could be right -- who knows what people like to wear while driving...I've been known to drive with my softball spikes on (when I've forgotten to pack my tennis shoes!)

Thanks for posting the link to the Babylon video - cool, but I was a bit disappointed as this is the first time I didn't see Ellen open Portia's door for her...maybe just in a hurry to get away from the cameraman - I don't blame her.

As for not locking the car, I believe her agent/body guard was in the vehicle next to them...just a hunch.
