ok... I'm going to describe this in least amount of words as poosible... small back story... I work in quality assurance for a company, basically I make sure the code in programs are right... anyway I was training somone today, her first day by the way and some how the war in Iraq came up and I said I am to much of a wuss to ever go through boot camp, the fact that I would cry like a little *****... anyway, this women, on her first day said to me "well, the don't ask don't tell policy would really screw you since you probably have a girlfriend" now this is from someone who is working their first day, I have been at this company for 2 months and no one has said anything to me... I'm sure they know I'm gay but everyone eaccepts me, I have never felt so insecure in my life, for someone to come up to me and say that... I'm not ashamed of who I am, I honestly don't care if anyone knows but it just took me completely of guard... should I just let it go? this really is bothering me for some reason...

I'd let it go,but I would keep her close. Keep your friends close and your enimies closer. Not saying she's a enemy,but she sounds like a loud mouth to say that to someone she does not know. Actually, in what tone did she say it in?

Is there a possibility that she doesn't know but she wants to know? I mean sometimes we just say something in order to check the others reaction.
On the other hand if none told her but she still knew probably she is at the same ...side of the river as you!

I didn't say anything... I didn't know what to say... I'm a wuss like that... but today she was talking about an ex boyfriend... I can read people really well and there's something about her that I just don't like... and I don't think it was an "ex boyfriend"... just saying

Exactly,after a few minutes of just listening to people talk you can absolutely know what kind of person they are. Sometimes I just sit and listen and I can tell if someone is "hell on wheels"
