Yeah, all I ever think about is Ellen too! I don't care who is on the show, just as long as she is on there! I will have to let my mom see the Thurs. show...she used to love Paula Deen until she met her! She was very rude and didn't acknowledge my mom or her friend when they met her! They won a contest to sit on stage at a show she did in our town several months ago and then after that they got to meet her backstage...she never came over to them on the stage and when my mom tried to talk to her she didn't even look up and the one time I think she did, she just gave my mom a filthy look. My mom told her she had been to Savannah, GA twice to see her and she went to her resteraunt and everything and Paula just acted like she didn't care. My mom did meet her sons and her brother at his resteraunt and she said they were all very nice, but Paula is not what she appears to be on tv...don't let her fool ya! Just thought I'd share! I'm so glad Ellen isn't like that! :lol: :)

:Maybe it's just the Pilates talking, but I feel great. I'm ready to go. I'm up to the task. Put me in coach. It's time for SEASON 5! (IMAGINE AN ECHO EFFECT)

I spent this week getting ready for the big show. Our season premiere is September 4th in New York City. And my first guest is Senator Hillary Clinton! I have some campaign ideas for her. Like a new slogan: "Girls Rule-Boys Drool." Sounds like a winner to me.

I've been doing Pilates to get ready. It's really hard and has nothing to do with talking "pills" or drinking "lattes."

Speaking of lattes, we got a new coffee machine in the office. I'm telling you, everything's new this year. New coffee, new attitude - I even got a few new writers. And the show petting zoo got a new Gnu. I'm kidding, it's just fun to say, "New Gnu".

The only hitch in the giddy-up this week is that I'm furious with David Hasselhoff. I've been working on a song for "America's Got Talent," and he stole it. But I'm not gonna let it get me down. I turned it into a duet and put it on my website. I think you'll all agree that this is my moment!

I love Kathy Griffin!!!!! Yeah, she is sort of innappropriate but she is also hilarious!! And she mentioned in one of her stand-up shows (I'm paraphrasing this next part) "I'm banned from Ellen's talkshow which really hurts because I love her...but it makes sense because she is in the business of being nice to celebrities and I'm in the business of making fun of them" (or something like that)

I don't think that Kathy was actually banned, it's just she was purposefully never asked.. didn't Ellen say that you had to be on the show before you could be banned? :lol:

I just wanted to share this interview with Kathy Griffin because it shows her admiration for Ellen...it should be a good show when she's on...I think she really has a lot of respect for her...I think it's great Ellen is having her on.
