Hey I'm new here so this may have already been asked previously. When Alex was on The L Word, were she and Ellen split up?

Alex was in season 3 of the L Word. She and Ellen split a few years before that. Theres a thread on here somewhere all about the L word but I'm not sure where it is. I can't find it at the moment. Sorry.
