Hey everyone! What programs do you guys use to make wallpapers? Or how do you make them? Because Photoshop confuses me  .. so many buttons! :p Thanks for your help! :D

I use Photoshop.
At first I used Paint Shop Pro 7 or 8 (I think there's a 9 now, but I've moved on to Photoshop since then) because it was easier.. less buttons.
However I find Photoshop has the best tools, even though theres a whole load of buttons. You don't really need to pay attention to any of them when you're first starting out though, so don't be too overwhelmed.

I use PhotoShop too... and I really really love it. It's by far the best image editing program I've ever used. I'm certain there's endless possibilities that I just haven't discovered yet, though, because every time I talk to someone who also uses it I realize we go about doing things a different way to achieve the same result...

You have to make it an RGB, and be sure that its a low resolution like 100 or 72 DPI and the right size for a screen like 800 x 600 pixels, but there are so many tools its hard to explain... do you have any other questions

You'll have to read the forum rules for the size... I can't remember the right size, but it will need to be reduced if you pos it. You can use Image Shack or Photobucket.
To do half and half, get the new document ready. Open the image you want and drag it onto the new document, and do the same with the others. to resize the photos in Photoshop, well what type of computer are you using, a PC or a MAC? Type will just start another layer and you should be able to do that no problem.

The size limits are 640 (wide) x 480 (tall). :)
You can also use ImageShack's thumbnail and have the underlying image as big as you want.
I'm sure you will all be shocked to see my wallpaper...

I have it set to stretch to fill the screen.
