I was hoping someone here is computer savy and can help me. Sometimes, like now, I hear random news and people talking while I am on my computer. I check my browsers and I don't see where it could be coming from. I am afraid to log on to certain websites...And then I hear random clicks and I get "virus protection" pop-ups all the time from internet explorer when I am using mozilla.
Can anyone please help me?
Thanks.

You might have something on your computer that is trying to launch a web browser.
I would suggest going to a local computer shop and getting someone to check it.
That does sound like your computer has a virus or trojan on it.

Buy another hard drive. (sorry I could not resist)
I would really worry about getting the virus or whatever is on your system off first.
Clearing your browser cache and emptying your recycle bin.
Burning stuff off to CD or DVD would let you delete it off of the computer, but be sure to make more than one copy and keep a check on ones that you care about. CDR's may only last a year or so before they start breaking down.

Okay that sounds really weird.
You've spyware on your pc, i'd suggest that you try the program "spyware doctor" ... its freeware but only for 30 days...
if that doesnt work then you gotta make backup CDs/DVDs from the stuff you still need and then reinstall your windows...
Thats how I would do it...
Heres the download link to Spyware Doctor :

Does anyone know what I can or can't delete from documents and settings-temp on my computer? I want to delete all of it but I don't want to kill my computer by deleting the wrong things. I did that once on an old computer and lost all of my AOL favorites. I never ended up finding them...
Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to try the disk clean-up feature that should be available in the properties of each disk drive.
Be sure that you empty your recycle bin and clear your browser cache.
You might want to invest in a DVD or CD burner and save off some of your files that you don't use as often. It is worth making more than one copy and keep an eye on the ones that you care about. Burned CD's at least may have a life expectancy of 1 to 1 1/2 years. Creating fresh copies of ones you care about would likely be a good idea.
If you use Outlook Express, be sure to empty the deleted items folder and compress the folders.
Some things depend on the exact version of windows you are using. (XP, 2000, Vista)

Buy a Mac, that'll fix it. ;) ... sorry, couldn't resist. hehe
Listen to what they are saying. James is right, make getting that virus or trojan off of your system the higher priority than trying to get extra hard drive space cleared.

The trojan might be why you are running out of space.
There are some that host porn sites or provide E-mail servers for spammers.
