What Are You Thankful For?

I'm starting this thread to express your feelings on what you are thankful for.

I'm thankful God gave me a second chance of life and for all the troops overseas fighting for my freedom.

I`m thankfull that I and my Dad survived the bad car acciedent that we had 5 years ago. We had a burst tyre while my Dad was driving and than the vehicle turned over.

I must had a guardian Angel on that day cause nothing bad happend to me only road burns , but my Dad was hurt really badly - he almost died. Now he is great and nothing reminds on the car acciedent we had.




And I`m thankfull for my Friends and all the nice People I meet here on this Website and of course I`m thankfull that the World gave us Ellen.

Although we don't have thanksgiving day, I would like to tell:
I'm thankfull for hard times which I had, cause then I can really enjoy my good times,
I'm thankfull for my sense of humor, cause then I can make people laugh,
I'm thankfull for my empathy, cause then I understand to feelings of people,
I'm thankfull for my patience, cause then I let you talk and will not interrupt you,
And finally, I'm thankfull for one man, who helped me to get these characteristics, his hollyness Dalai lama...

*My wonderful family and friends
*That I am healthy
*That I have food to eat, water to drink and all of those things that a lot of people in the world unfortunately don't have
*That I have found Ellen, the most inspirational role model ever
*Getting to know all of the great, helpful people on this site
*That I am doing good in school, and hopefully will end school with grades that makes me able to work with something cool in the future

I forgot to mention point no. 1 - 5 . I`m thankfull that I live in this part of the world where I have food,water to drink ,technics,medical healthcare and power.

I'm thankful for everyday that I can wake up, smell the roses (or dead leaves in the yard) and that I'm still VERTICAL!

I'm thankful (and truly blessed) for friends like all of you on here to make my life a HAPPY one each and every day.

I'm most thankful for my freedom because of the thousands of men and women serving our country. I only hope and pray they come home safe to their own families and that the war is over (forever) very soon.

And, of course, that Ellen DeGeneres came into my life.

What an awesome thread. First things first, I'm greatful for discovering Ellen in this period of my life. Being 16, you can kinda stray a bit. She helps me little by little except myself for who I am, even though its confusing for me right now. But she makes me wanna be a better person and to be kind to others and not judge.

I'm also grateful for having a sense of humor about things and hardly ever getting angry.

I'm grateful for having such an awesome family (even though they can get crazy sometimes) and having a great relationship with both my sisters.

I'm grateful for the friends I've made in this site. I dont really have many friends in school, I guess I'm just awkward around people. But you guys bring out the real me and I thank you guys for that. I love you! http://www.mazeguy.net/romantic/grouphug.gif

I though of a few more things:


It is a good day for us to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives. Friends, family, health, great alcohol, and better headache medication.

We also give thanks for the following things:

1. Not burning the food
2. Finding room in our bellies to fit more food in
3. Finding pants with elastic waistbands
4. Someone brought five different kinds of pie
5. The drinks are plentiful
6. The T.V. is plugged in and working
7. We have dishwasher(s)
8. We replaced the batteries in the remotes yesterday
9. No work for two whole days
10. We can OFFICIALLY go holiday shopping at 4 a.m. on Friday.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating tomorrow, no holiday here as we have already celebrated in October (Canada's Thanksgiving). Make sure you eat a balanced meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie with whip cream. Have a great day tomorrow. I bet if Portia is making the turkey then Ellen is supplying the pumpkin pie and whip cream, which they may have in the bedroom....maybe i will go buy some whip cream myself. :eek: Peace everyone

I am thankful for so many things! I am thankful that i have a roof over my head,i get food when i want and how much i want, i have a wonderful family who can gets on my nerves but hey whose family doesn't,i love them.I'm thankful every single day for ellen because i wouldn't be here if it weren't for her........i'm so thankful i have my health.I'm thankful for this website and all the people on it,because it's the only place where i'm able to be myself,because at school i don't feel comfortable and always feel like i'm the odd one out so i guess no one really knows me,but when i come on this site i feel normal :D i love everyone here and im happy i have found people like you because for a long time i felt like i was the only one who was a certain way-the black sheep i guess.

I am thankful for my family, that I have a roof over my head, and for my health! And for my part-time job that I love, along with the people I work with!

Cause of course without that roof over my head, I would not have a place to house my laptop, which I live on...something I'm also thankful for! And the cause for that...ELLEN!!!

I am thankful every day that she came into my life, and I will always feel blessed that that happened!! She is the greatest role model, and I consider myself lucky to have found her!! And without her, I wouldn't have met all of my wonderful friends on here, so I'm thankful to her for bringing me you all!!! I love Ellen and I love you all so much! We're like one big family...remember, think of Ellen as our gay cousin...LOL!!!
