Hello all,
I know it's been awhile since I posted. Been having more trips to the Specialists, and now going through rounds of shots in my head and neck. Not fun! I had posted before when I had the one shop, and now I have more and wanted to share them with you. The Cafe Press one has Ellen things in it, and I'm hoping to work on more soon. All the shops have some similar items, but some have different things too. Like the Printfection one also has the designs on Glass Cutting Boards for in the kitchen. Cool. Here they are:
My Stores: (All proceeds from all of them are going to help my Brother who returned from Active Duty Overseas and needs our help. He's medically disabled from injuries he sustained in the line of duty, yet the Military is screwing him. At least it's not as bad as a buddy of his, he's missing an arm and a leg and they say he's only 10% disabled!! I say not as bad only because he's not missing limbs, but even though he can't do anything physical anymore, they aren't giving him disabilty. He has to be put in the hospital on traction because of his injuries so much that he finally had to just buy a traction unit to use on his own!!) Check out Graham Mountain's Exclusive Snowman Collection!! Really HOT and going FAST!!!! Get them before they all melt away!

I'm dead serious when I say this, contact Bill O'Reilly from Fox News and he will be all over that government for giving him the shaft on his health coverage. They had the same thing a week ago and got it resolved. He is so for the military and making sure they are getting recognition for their work and that WE as AMERICANS are doing the same. Please do it if you don't want to, I will do it... here is his email address... Oreilly@foxnews.com
I'll take a look at your stores... going to a good cause and I support the troops to the max. Hang in there hon! Its great you are doing what you are doing.:xmas_9:

Thank you Anastasia! Feel free to share the sites with anyone, or everyone. lol
We were in a car wreck in February which has left me now disabled. We are fighting to make the person who caused the accident pay for the medical, and found out yesterday from our attorney that we are being counter sued. (My dh was our hunting for venison so we'd have meat when I got the call, it was his birthday, so when he came in I got to give him a Happy Birthday Honey, we're being sued! :() I found out the day before that on top of everything else, and needing 2 surgeries yet (already had one emergency surgery) that I now have scoliosis in my cervical and lumbar spine, chronic arthritis in all my joints (explains why with the weather getting cold I've been in more pain than I have been) and have Fibromyalgia. I tell you, we keep doing a really BAD thing. Like When we found out what all else I now have, we both commented once again "How could this possibly get worse?" and it always does. We've had to sell off our vehicles and everything. But, I have faith in our attorney.
To me the biggest pitfall of the accident is not all the pain I now have (I take 5 different prescriptions for pain) but rather the financial situation it put us in that I can't help my brother. We lost my eldest brother in Desert Storm, so this is the only sibling I have left. Both my brothers are my biggest heros!! They both fought in Desert Storm. My brother has 27 years in, and we found out two days ago that they will only be giving him his disability pay based on 4 years when he was 'in combat'. (I think that sucks!!) They are giving him a 'settlement' which will go towards a downpayment on a little house, but he's still debating if he wants it or not. This 'settlement' they offer is actually a front on their retirement benefit, which when they finally get of retirement age, either reduces their retirement GREATLY, or you 'pay back' what they 'fronted you' and with INTEREST!!
I tell you, I have many nephews who have enlisted, and not am I scared for them and their life, but also worried that when they get older they will be in even worse shape than what the Military is doing to the men/women now. Will they give them their pensions? Or hold true with all the promises they give these kids for signing up? I have heard through friends who are long time Military that they are not even fully training these kids before sending them over...which is another reason we lose so many. They are gung ho to get there thinking it will be "like their video games" and have a harsh reality when their friends die and don't come back the next day or whatever. It's a harsh cruel lesson and so many are not prepared.
Gosh, didn't mean to get on a soap box. I will look up that guy. Thank you for letting me know. My folks and brother are worried if I contact the news or anything that it will make it worse on my brother, as they are advised (threatened) NOT to talk about their medical and discharge or the terms of it. Again...I think it sucks.
Thanks for looking at my sites and spreading the word!! Very kind of you, and we appreciate it so much. He's currently trying to get visitation with his little girl. I sure hope it all comes through!!

Thanks again everyone who has taken the time to look at my sites.
My ex sister in law is letting my Brother come to see his Daughter, but has to visit right there in her house, and my ex SIL (who is almost 40) now has a "boy friend" who is younger than her son. We are hoping it doesn't end up one of those things that he's her boyfriend, but when she's not home he gets after the daughter. He's kinda creepy from what I heard from other people. My Brother said although his Daughter is SOOOOOO excited and happy to see him, sometimes when he goes over she is withdrawn, antsy, whiny and cries at the drop of a hat. That could also be because her Mom is verbally abusive (which is difficult at best to provide proof in court) and has 7 different diagnosed mental disorders but won't take medication because "She's the only normal one in her family" (her words).
If you like flowers, I'm working on a site with lots of flowers, it will be at www.cafepress.com/artisticability.
Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!:xmas_19:
