One of the best musicals ever!! I've seen in it on stage twice (tho never on Broadway), and I'm one of the (apparently) few pre-movie-rentheads who adore the movie, too. Although that might be mainly because of Tracie Thoms... *swoon*

I also love that movie, those songs! I just love it. I only saw the movie, not the original musical, but it's great. I know all (almost all) the lyrics.

the song "seasons of love" is beautiful, isn't it? I was like woow, and the movie starts with that song, when they are on the stage...

and the song la vie boheme also has a great message, I love the lyrics of that song!!

I would have to say that my favorite character on there is Joanne(Tracie Thoms is amazing!) and my favorite couple is...Joanne and Maureen. lol.

I only watched it once...I remember going to the movies with my dad and my brothers... When I got home I looked for the musics/lyrics and after a while I saw a couple of clips on youtube. I just got the dvd a couple of days ago so I just have to find some time to watch the complete movie again...
