It is nice. :xmas_7:
Some of the flakes have been caught although I don't think anyone has made any ice cream from it though...

The flakes are so purdy... all I have is left over snow with lots of ice and a car that needs lots of scraping! And tons of fog... so I come here to enjoy! Building a snowman... we can do that!:xmas_1:
Merry Christmas everyone!:xmas_9:

I love the flakes too! It takes a flake to know good flakes when I seez em!!:scoolblue:
Plus it's much safer catching the flakes on your tongue as they fall, rather than taking a chance and eating the snow off the ground! Never, Never, NEVER eat the yellow snow! Of course, I'm sure your Mom taught you that at a very young age!:p

Oh, I have eaten lots of snow! But, not always on purpose. When I was a kid, I used to pull kids around the fields on their sleds with my horse. One day, the snow was a little wet, and the snow got packed in my horse's feet. She slid around like Bambi on ice for a bit, before she finally sat down, dumping me face first in the snow. Another time, i tried skiing. It took me a while to find my way around the slopes, but then iIgot a bit bold. I went too fast and ended up taking out a section of snow fence, right under the ski lifts. (much to the delight of those riding it!) Again..I ate snow. Ahh, good times!

We've got a snowfall warning right now. And we have about a foot :)
We went tobogganing yesterday!
(yes I know you country folk have about 3 feet, but we hardly had any snow at all last year so its progress!)

Loved your "Snow Eating" stories, treiner! Reminds me of the day I went skiing at 7Springs...was heading around the sharp bend and apparently my skis decided they didn't want to turn. I ended up flying off the edge (which at the time was not fenched) and flew in the air about 5 or 6 feet heading down a pretty steep and rocky mountainy hillside. Luckily I landed on a huge, huge rock (larger than two of me). Believe it or not, skis and poles still in tact. I was, however, afraid to move because one slip and I was tumbling the rest of the way down. The hubby came to the edge and shouted "don't move". Yeah, like I was gonna stand up and try - NOT! It was so funny, just like a car teatering on a ledge ready to fall over. I was finally able to get my skis off and crawl back UP - very carefully for sure. I didn't eat snow, but was pretty much covered in it!
That, of course, didn't stop me from continuing on my journey to the bottom - on the normal course! I also used to ski through the hubby's legs and people thought that was amazing! However, we're talking back when I was 20something, 20 lbs lighter, and not afraid of anything. My how things have changed:rolleyes:
