Well, since I see people love posting pictures of the snow, etc... I thought I'd make a thread especially for pictures. It could be about your family or pets if you want us to see them, or heck even your car! :D

This is me and my counsin Jennifer Renee. I hadn't seen her for 11 years. Her mother died at 46, whom was my aunt. My aunt and I were very close, but she lost Jennifer at the age of 7 because of her alcoholism, which killed her in the end. So this picture and this moment was one of the top most exciting things that has happened to me... shes so smart, beautiful, popular and sings and plays guitar... I just love her to pieces. She lives in Minisoda...

I love the underwater pics of Nemo and Dory! SO COOL! I went snorkeling once and the minute I saw a fish, I freaked out and practically walked on water to get back to shore! It scared the shit out of me!:uglyconf:

It might have been.

To the north and west of here there was more snow than that.

It really has not snowed much here in many years.

Still snowing... this is Pete trying to shovel the snow off our sidewalks!!! (Excuse the KC Chiefs flag in the reflection - they SUCKED this year). This is me about 2 years ago at Salisbury cathedral which used to be the tallest one in Europe until the cross ontop of the spire was removed. this cathedral is about 700 years old i think

An internal view of the main part of Lincoln Cathedral. I was standing on a ledge about 2 ft deep x 5 ft wide, with a huge stained glass window behind me and only a flimsy bar in front of me. I was about 60ft up. The window in the background is the largest 8 pain stain glass window in europe and was taken down piece by piece during WWII so it wouldnt be shattered by a blast!

Lincoln Cathedral is mindblowing isnt it!? I'm not religious at all but when I lived further up north I visited it about 10 times as it was only an hr away by train. And Stonehenge is really eerie dont you think???

Yeah, that's what my photography teacher told me, but I had the camera on a tripod at the tie I think the picture was taken. It was dark and I was standing in a parking lot with few lights around me.

I just think it looks cool though! But what's weird and what freaks me out is that if you look closely in one of the upper corners you can see the reflection of a lamp shade...and I thought it was a double exposure of another picture, but there were no pictures on that whole roll that had a lamp shade in them:eek:...all the pictures were taken outside...freaky!!! :wacko:

You should visit Hagia Sophia (holy wisdom) at Istanbul. As far as I know it is not allowed to be used as a church anymore but mostly as a museum. So even for a muslim that I know that there is an extra sensitivity in the holyness of the places of actual religion practice will be no problem. Of course its not anymore as impressive as it used to be when it was built Sultan Mehmed didnt really appreciated that kind of art - fair enough don't get me wrong) but still is interesting

Lincoln Cathedral is mindblowing isnt it!? I'm not religious at all but when I lived further up north I visited it about 10 times as it was only an hr away by train. And Stonehenge is really eerie dont you think???

at first i wasn't gonne go inside, cuz i'm not very religious either and i find cathedrals kinda boring sometimes but i'm glad i did entered!!

Don't worry there is no need for discussion. It wasn't meant to be offensive. He might have been a great leader or whatever else you think (and probably is true since you know more about that I believe) but I was just making fun how in certain eras the perceptions of the time don't let you to be very ''artistic'' And many great monuments have been destroyed due to these reasons from all religions and nations. And in order to be fair dont think that I don't know for example that Theodosios (emperor of the first Byzantines years ) had destroyed many important greek temples due to the same lack of ''artistic spirit''.

I never log out of ImageShack because I got stuck sort of logged in and sort of logged out a time or two too many.

I also use the plain interface you get when you go to their main page rather than the nice one that lets you see your images.

this is what i spent my day doing...moving cows home from one winter pasture to another...this is just a few of our cows :)

WOW!!! That looked like...fun! :p

I have no pictures of how I spent my day...I went to school, then sped home from school and ran in my house right as they were showing the preview to TEDS and I threw my backpack on the ground in my room and jumped on the couch and didn't move for an hour...except only to fall off of it with laughter when Ryan brought out the toy, I mean gift, for Ellen:p!

Then I hung around here for about an hour, then I went to work and did almost nothing, but cut pictures out of art print books...we are slow at work right now as you can see...then I came home, ate dinner, ate dessert, which consisted of too many peanut butter cookies, and here I am...where I belong!!!:D

It has a population of over 1 million, which is probably very small in World standards. That's one of the special things about the place - it's a City but it still feels friendly & inviting.

well i thought i would share pictures of where i work, as im really proud of my job as everyone (inc my family) thought i would just bum around. i got my first job out of uni working nights as a reader/editor at Precise Media, Royal Mint Court, London. Basically on nights (about 100 of us) we process the next days news stories before they're printed, then we write summaries for our clients. Mine are Barclays and Schroders' banks. OK it sounds really dull but it's not, and it's great hours and their is a really hot girl I can see from my desk :p
