Silly question, I know there are plenty of you here.
Anyways..
I"m going to Italy for March Break for 12 days, and I was wondering how much spending money I should bring. We're going around to 8 cities, don't remember them all off the top of my head.. and we have to pay for one meal a day I think, as well as souvenirs.
Also, would it be best if I brough euros, US, or Canadian?
:D

hi jordz!!!
wow...you come to me in march??. it's wonderful!!!:D
...well...absolutly euro...or credit card...for pay everything
...for meal ...the price change from city to city...however for one meal (pasta or pizza + drink) 15 euro is enough...but Roma, Firenze, Venezia are very expensive...then you can to pay 30 euro, too!
...for souvenire...i don't know but are not expensive...5,10,50 or 100 euro!!!
have a nice trip..and...sorry for my english...:D

Credit card is the best solution if u have problems with euro, but pay attention if u have american express coz in some shops is not avaiable, I've never understand why...
For souvenirs, try to not to buy them in the souvenir shops ;) For example in front of the Colosseum you can pay also five times more for a postacard or a Roma shirt ;)
For the food it depends... but very often prices are write outside the restaurant so u can choose before ;)
Have a nice trip, Italy is beautiful

I don't know about there, but in the U.S. stores used to pay higher fees with American Express than with other credit cards. It has been a while since I heard that, so I don't know if it is still true.

Maybe a rainbow glass thing that will hold a tea light

I was kinda hoping for some cheese. Or some coins. Or some flowers that I could press.
You know... Only if that's not too specific...
