I'd like to share with all of you an article I wrote for a local parenting magazine. The article offers advice as to how parents can teach tolerance, toward people with disabilities, to children.

Kate Bigalk is a freelance writer, poet, and universal design consultant with cerebral palsy. This is her debut article as a freelance writer.

I really admire people who can write so well because I know they can feel so...well!!

And to be honest I was never good at writing. So at the end of the day we all have our...disabilities which when they become the force to discover our strong points then they become a gift!!!For me there is no good or bad, easy or difficult normal or abnormal by itself. All is a matter of how we deal with situations. To discover new landscapes all you need is new eyes as Proust would say :-)
