No, I didn't post that question yesterday. Sorry if I started a repetitive topic. I wasn't really on the site yesterday, so I didn't see the post! I guess we won't know until tonight (when they put her in the front row and show her continuosly the whole night even though she's not nominated because she's in a new high-profile relationship).

LOL! I have no clue! It's the one award show that ends it all..you know like tv shows and movies. This one is the last one that does that..i think. 8-)

the academy awards is what the event is called, i would guess, in an official sense. the oscar being the actual award....but i guess they call it the oscars b/c of the award...kinda like a slang reference. thats the only way i can make sense of it.

also, i wouldn't expect to see ellen and portia there. tv shows don't get nominated for oscars. only movies and things to do with movies.

its the mtv movie awards. it was a funny bit ellen and kirsten did. lets see if i remember this correctly (the show aired a while back)...part of the gag was that kirsten made the comment, like you did, about spiderman not having breasts, and i think kirsten then proceeded to cop a feel on ellen! lol

aw that's a pity. The MTV Awards are so much better than the the Oscars!!! The MYV Awards are just really funny, not so serious.

I don't even know if they are showing the oscars here. It may have been live on satellite TV, but I don't think they're repeating it on free TV. People have lost interest since Lord of the Rings is done with.

Peter Jackson (was that the lord of the ring's producers' name?) is filming King Kong, now, I don't know if they've started the whole process yet though.
