Searches for "ellen degeneres (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=ellen+degeneres&cs=bz)" popped up another 35% on the day of the program, and related lookups for "josiah leming on ellen (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=josiah+leming+ellen+degeneres&cs=bz)" (+1,344%), "josiah leming (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=josiah+leming&cs=bz)" (+518%) and "josiah leming american idol (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=josiah+leming+american+idol&cs=bz)" (+483%) surged for the woebegone underdog.
Ellen had ties to the Fox competition last season, serving as satellite host on the shoe-horned "Idol Gives Back" telethon (http://buzz.yahoo.com/buzzlog/68736/an-altruistic-idol?cmmnts=1). Besides showing Ryan Seacrest (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=ryan+seacrest&cs=bz) how proper hosting's done, she dug around in the spare change tray in her car and came up with a $100K donation. The fairy godmother instincts re-emerged Tuesday when she gifted Josiah (http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/realityrocks/22741/josiahs-on-fire) with $8,000 worth of musical instruments.

Nice try, but being Ellen's adopted pet inspires nine times more searches than being her teen-boy doppelganger. Not that Colton should give up getting in the godmother's good graces. After all, searchers don't call her "ellen degenerous" for nothing.

Interesting! I never thought of it that way. I guess they are right and Ellen is the Fairy American Idol Godmother. That's pretty cool!:D

I think that is kinda cool too! I hope if they do Idol Gives Back again this year that she hosts again!! She loves the show and the contestants, and she loves to help out and give in any way she can! Also, the judges love her and she'll get to hang out with her bud, Ryan some more!!

I just got into AI last season, and now I love to watch it every week!!! So I have a bigger appreciation for Ellen's love of it...I used to not care when she had people from AI on her show...now I love to get her views on the contestants and judges!!

Christina Aguilera (http://omg.yahoo.com/christina-aguilera/celebs/62) confirmed reports that she had some outlandish decorations when her new baby Max Liron Bratman had his Bris ceremony, during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres (http://omg.yahoo.com/ellen-degeneres/celebs/342) Show."
A Bris is a Jewish ritual, traditionally held on the eighth day of a son's life, when he is circumcised. Aguilera said she and her husband, Jordan Bratman, did their best to make the occasion celebratory.

"We are not a very conservative couple and I definitely like to have fun with things and be festive and really go all out," she explained to host Ellen DeGeneres (http://omg.yahoo.com/ellen-degeneres/celebs/342) in an interview which airs on Wednesday.
So what did the couple do to mark the occasion which welcomed their son into the Jewish faith?

"Little Max, poor little guy, he was a trooper, and for decorations we put up penis balloons all over the place - blue and some white," Christina said. "It was really fun. It was really great."
A stunned Ellen was surprised balloons are made in the shape of phallic symbols.
