Ellen: "Who needs a flashlight? Just carry one of these things around a dark room and it will glow! However, you will need someone standing in front of you to constantly take your picture with a flash so it will reflect off the Emmy!! Happy Hide and Seeking!!"

Ellen: "If this is you when you're awake, now I know why the cats and dogs never wake you up in the middle of the night when you're asleep!!"

Ellen: "They'll give out drinks inside."
Portia: But I thought they gave out drinks sometimes on the red carpet!"
Ellen: "Well, they were supposed to, but the Sex and the City girls are at the restaurant across the street having a little reunion with each other so there is no booze left on this whole street!!"
Portia: "Well, I know where we're going for the after party!!"
Ellen: "No, there won't be any left by the time the awards are over. But there's a mini bar in the mini fridge back in our hotel room!!"
Portia: "Perfect! We don't have to share with anybody!"

Portia: "I think they're off in a corner somewhere writing your thank you speech!!"
Ellen: "Yeah right, I didn't tell them to write anything anyway!! But if they really were off in a corner writing one, I know of one lazy writer who is not joining them!!"
Portia: "Who? Which one?"
Ellen: "The one following us...looking for the cake!"

Ellen: "No, I won this one fair and square! But if you'd like a rematch, Allison Janney is always up for one! I can give her a call and when we get back home y'all can race in the pool together!"
Portia: "Ellen, riding on inflatable killer whales and dolphins is just not the same!!"
