Ellen: "I hope we get to keep these lanterns. We're planning on using them when we camp out in our backyard sometimes at night. We've been told there used to be people that hid in our bushes out back...we'll scope it out while we're out there eating smores!!"

Portia: "Yeah, it seems like they're gone."
Ellen: "What if they come back again?"
Portia: "We'll run inside again!"
Ellen: "You know, I wish they were this interested in us every day!! This is a much better workout than walking on that new treadmill I was going to buy!!"
Portia: "Maybe they would be more interested if we put a license tag on the roof of our house."
This is one of my favorites of their wedding pictures...so beautiful!! I love their smiles!!

Portia: "Oh, that was some of Wolf's dog food. He kinda tipped the bowl over on me while I was bending down to try to pick it up to clean it."

Portia: "Honey you look like you're freezing!!"
Ellen: "I am...it's January, what do you expect? Aren't you cold?"
Portia: "No, but I've got a hot woman to keep me warm!"
Ellen: "Well, I do too, but when the wind is blowing right in your face on a cold night, you just wanna put on your pajamas and lie on the couch with a blanket and wactch Animal Planet."
Portia: "Well, why are we here then?"
Ellen: "Because you know, the people sent us an invitation and asked us to come, and make an appearance, and do a little interview, and all that fun stuff."
Portia: "But that's fun!"
Ellen: "Yeah, but not when there's a new epsiode of Animal Heroes on and you forgot to Tivo it!"
Portia: "I'll warm you up when we get home. It's the least I can do since I forgot to Tivo the show."
Ellen: "No, when I said 'you' I meant figuratively speaking...it could have been either one of us."
Portia: "Oh, well in that case....I'll still warm you up! Hell, I'll even bring you a cup of hot chocolate!"

Ellen: "I think I may have forgotten to turn the alarm setting on the alarm clock off before we left home. Do you think Wolf and Mabel have gone crazy yet?"
Portia: "No, Charlie probably ate it!!"

Portia: "Why do all thes rappers have to wear this bling?"
Ellen: "It's a way to express themselves."
Portia: "I know, but I just don't get the big, huge jewelry."
Ellen: "Portia, you know how when I get out out the shower every day and I get dressed and I braid my bangs? Well, that is one way I express myself."
Portia: "Yeah, but you only do that to scare the cats, El."
Ellen: "Yes, but see again...scaring our cats is another way I like to express myself. It all has a meaning behind it. Even if it is just to watch cats run and climb up a tree in your backyard!"
Portia: "Yeah, you have to admit that is kinda funny!! Unfortunately though, they often mistake our drapes for a tree!!"
