America 2010

Hi All,

I know you are all probably reading the topic title and thinking 2010 is far away, but looking at the costs of travelling to America its too close.

Anyway my gf and I are wanting to stay in New York, LA, Las Vegas and San Francisco, in total we are planning a 4 week trip.

I would like to know of some reasonable priced hotels, hostels or motels in any of these locations. Any tips for travelling etc..

Also does anyone know how I can get tickets to Ellen's show for when I am there (if it is still on *fingers crossed*) being over in Australia... It's at the top of my things to do before I die list.

Assuming you don't want to take a chance by standing in line for stand-by tickets or try the same day ticket line, you just need to watch for a workable date to open on her ticket page and grab tickets as soon as possible. The tapings fill up pretty quickly. You likely have a better chance for Thursday since they have two tapings.

I don't travel much, so I can't help you with the other stuff. :astonished:
