Ok, girls!
Ellen is a little butch, not complety but she's not as femme like Portia, and it's ok.
However, I rather a femme, I'm not into butch (I do not know another way to call them, if this word is wrong, I'm sorry)
So let me know, what do you prefer? Femme or butch?

I dont really think ellen as really "butchy" i mean, in the real form "butch" shes just not out wearing skirts and dress' and getting all fancied up. or maybe i dont like labeling. but thats me personally, but i find portia to be extremely gorgeous, in her femme way.

I see Ellen as very feminine, she's so compassionate, loving and sensitive but she just doesn't like wearing feminine clothing, although I don't think she ever looks butch, even when she's wearing a suit. I think Ellen's style is all her own, she always looks great whatever she's wearing and has developed a real eye for what's fashionable and what suits her :)

As for Portia, she is stunning and of course is more femme, she has perfect style too and always looks good whatever she wears, whether it's ripped jeans and a T shirt or a fabulous dress at a function :)

Again...we share the same brain!! I totally agree with what you said about Ellen...I don't think she looks butch at all!! I think there is a difference between being butch and being a tomboy, which is more of what Ellen is to me, but she is totally feminine!! But then again, I don't believe in stereotypes and labels.

I was the only one that said I am straight and I dont care... or care for the labels...

Define each: Femme and Butch

We all may have a different look on it.

Ellen is a true romantic... as is Portia. So Ellen doesnt wear dresses I dont think that makes her "butch"... whatever that defination is lol...

They are who they are and I love them!;)

I am pretty femme myself....but i tend to go for other femme girls too...like my girlfriend ;).

And i agree with the above posts, i think ellen is very very feminine in her own way.

Hmmm, I picked butch or femme...it really just depends on the person. But I dont like it when they go all out butch and look like boys...so yeah, I kinda prefer the femme a bit more :D

I'm a butch, softer and softer as I'm growing older and older. I think it's kind of self actualization.
I prefer femme, I wish I'll meet a girl as gorgeous as Portia one day ;)

no, there are at least 2 no gay persons in the forum.
I’m a straight woman that is proud to say that it’s a Portia and Ellen fan, as individual and gifted comedians and as a couple (they are actually my favorite couple even counting couples I do know) and wishes to find the kind of love this two have.

I'm a tomboy and I dress very Ellenish...lol..but I do wear high heels and I actually own 3 or 4 skirts.:eek: :D

so yeah..I voted for femme/butch combo :p

Totally femme! I'm a femme, my girlfriend is a femme, femmes rule! But, I love Ellen. I don't see her as butch. She's more in the middle, like andro.
