Ellen: "Mama, can I come out of time out now? I didn't do anything wrong!! Well, it was my slinky anyway!! Why must you always take Portia's side?"

Ellen: "Whoa Tyra, please don't hit me!! I don't know what you heard, but it wasn't me who said your dress looked like a blown up piece of red foil!!"

Ellen: "I rolled my hair four times before I came down here tonight! And by that, I mean I rolled over and hit the alarm next to the bed four times. I was in the middle of my Saturday night nap when I remembered I was supposed to be presenting an award to Janet Jackson. In return, I hope she presents me with a certain watch I loaned her last year."
I don't know why, but when I first saw her hair like this I didn't know what she was thinking, but over time, I actually grew to kinda like it a little messy like this at this event.:)

Portia: "Yeah, everyone except Rosie...and Joy...and Whoopi!! They scare me!!"
Ellen: "Ah Whoopi's a friend...you don't have to worry about her."
Portia: "I know, it's the other two I'm really worried about."
Ellen: "If they come near you, just jump on Mama's lap. They won't hurt old women who are looking for men...unless those men happen to be the same men they're looking for!"

Portia: Ellen, put those down. They are not yours."
Ellen: "But no one says they're not!"
Portia: "You know good and well they have other people's names on them. Besides, how did you think you were planning on getting through that metal detector with those things in your hands?"
Ellen: "I wasn't. I was going to make you shove them in your dress. They don't make people wearing a lot of bling walk through the metal detectors anyway."

Portia: "Honey, take off those sunglasses you would be able to see our car...OVER HERE!!"
Ellen: "Here, there, potato, pototo, let's just find the car, go home, and watch BOT!! Veronica is my favorite character!!"
Portia: "She better be!!"
