Summer 2009

I am opening a new thread for anyone who wants to share with all the rest of us his plans about summer vacations 2009.

I am starting with my plans :) I am going with 3 good friends in a beautiful greek island named Milos. We will stay there for 8 days and then we are going for a couple of days in Athens to visit the new museum of Acropolis :)

After that I am going with my boyfriend at another island named Symi (or Simi) for 8 days. It's a very small island, it has only 2500 habitants, but we are plannig to visit the neighbour islands that they are in the close area.

Normally I don't like to go to very touristic places such as some greeks islands are, because I prefer the less crowded places. I have been living for 3 years in an island (because of my work) and I can say that the winters were much more charming and romantic than the summers were...Hope one day to buy a sea-view home in an island and live there only the winter!

Actually I am very impatient at the moment, I need so much holidays that all my thoughts and my focus are on the plans related with the trip. Hope the weather not be very hot , because these days here is extremely hot.

Anyway, hope you all have a beautiful sunny summer and if you are as enthuasiast as I am to share your plans with us :)

Oh wow that sounds awesome... I have always wanted to go there.

My plans are nothing. I am saving up for the big trip to LA in September. In August I am spending two weeks with my friend to help her move all her stuff. So thats my vacation :) I dont care though because she needs the help.

Hope you all are having a nice summer/winter and get to do some fun things. Cant wait to read all about your plans! :)

I dont do some great vacationing. I will visit my dad. I dont saw him this year till now. so thats why I will visit him.

i'm probably gonna be stuck at home, working on my project .... eventually i'll go to nearby lake but that's only for a day ..... and my friends pool ...

I am also enjoyinf the summer,this Thursday my family and I are going to New York City and doing some stuff there and also on Friday we are going to some places with my sisters and my nieces and we are going to the movies also. :)

me, I will be working my arse off all summer + rest of the year.
Although, next week I have hockey starting up which is always fun. Thats about it... so excited, eh?! :uglyconf:

BTW, it isn't my dog and I didn't take the photo. My dog is a shih tzu (he's blond!) and he does look like this when he is chasing a ball or something - he kinda bounces across the grass!:D

Not a lot of plans for the summer. Working full time. Hitting up the beach & parties. :cool:
Saving up for my trip to LA in September. I'm actually wanting summer to go by fast so I can go to TEDS quicker:uglyconf::p

Work, work, work!
Although not as much as I'd like to be.

And going to the cottage whenever I have a few days off.
I might take a week off in August and just go up there and do nothing.
It will be glorious.

Otther than that my summer doesn't have much going for it.
