Is the VIEW taped on the same day (Dec 4th) or the day before??

If its same day---possibility that Ellen is also in NY with Portia....but if its taped the day before (Thursday) then it would be unlikely that Ellen is also in NY cos they usually do tape two shows on Thursday in LA.

The only "god help her" moment I would be afraid of is if Elizabeth or Sherry go on an anti- gay marriage rant.

I didn't even consider that they would do that! You're right, only I hope it will be a God help them moment!

I think/hope they will treat Portia with the respect she deserves. Portia is so sweet, they would look like total witches if they did. Actually, they all kinda remind me of witches anyway

I can't wait to see her. Portia doesn't do enuff interviews for me

Portia will be absolutely fine on 'The View'. From the little I have seen of this programme( I don't think we get it in the Uk...correct me I am wrong sombody!) she is confident and articulate enough to deal with all of them!
She's Australian for God's sake ! They are totally relaxed about things. And that is meant as a comlpiment. I have Australian relatives!

She obviously has to do the promotional rounds for BOT. They need to churn Portia out more often. She's an asset to the show.

OMG! I`m so excited! Portia on the view? I`ll be setting the DVR. I`m assuming she`s on as a guest since Better Off Ted returns on Dec. 8.

As long as I`m here I wanted to invite any of you to join our Portia group at The Ellen Community, Portia Lovers AKA Portialand.
Has anyone heard if Ellen`s show is going to New York again?
