I can understand Portia's fear about revealing her feelings to Ellen. Hollywood entertainment is a very tough world and competition is very stiff.
Ellen had already made it in show business, but was and is very high profile. It took alot of courage on Portia's part to gamble the truth, even later on. I think Portia may have lost out a little on acting parts even now and is 'passed over' by conservative persons in the industry. The Oprah interview was fantastic. Heartwarming. I have yet to find the Dec magazine over here in the UK but suspect it will be out nearer the month of December. They bought a farm during this summer , outside Westlake village. It's in Thousand Oaks near the Andalusian farm stud (makes sense) . Did Ellen mention anymore about it on her show? She usually gives a mention and shows a couple of photos of what they are doing. I am assuming Portia will now stable her horses there and ride alot more. She appears to be a pretty competant jumper and horsewoman. |

Conservatives, treiner, as in careful about image on film and frightened of using gay people on TV etc! Not necessarily in the politcal sense .And judging by the trouble Ellen and her producers and execs had in selling the idea/programmme initially , they still exist.

I had high hopes today when the November cover had been taken off the shelves in one branch, I like to think the fact that it wasn't replaced with the Ellen cover is because they sold out instantly! ![]()

![]() I have devoured all content relating to Ellen, there are a couple of mentions here and there as well as the behind the scenes at the photoshoot piece and the main interview and stuff too. Definitely worth having, and the Covergirl ads are indeed excellent - she looks so superb.

![]() I checked with my local Smiths and they said they don't have the mag normally but they could order it for me, but they couldn't guarantee the issue, which obviously was no good ![]() So I ordered it online, it ended up costing me about £1 more, but I got it a couple of days after it was released in the US and it was Ellen's issue, so it was worth it ![]() And yeah I was so happy that the Covergirl ads were in there too, I hadn't even thought of that when I ordered it ![]()
